Metro Boomin' is enjoying a massive wave of comedic success after the release of his own diss track, "BBL Drizzy."

The ridiculous instrumental is Metro's response to Drake's having told him to "shut up" and "make some drums" on a diss track. Metro invited internet users to hop on "BBL Drizzy" and offer their own verses, promising the best rapper a free beat and ten thousand dollars.

Soulja Boy then launched a massive campaign against the producer, stemming from one tweet that is over a decade old.

In 2012, Metro tweeted: "My phone rings to come to the studio with Jeezy. Yours rings to send Soulja Boy a pack of beats. Sit down."

Soulja Boy found the tweet and was less than thrilled. He took to Instagram to go on a rant about the post. He threatened Metro to take the tweet down, saying he would then "be on his ass" if not.

"You got 24 hours...if I wake up tomorrow and that tweet ain't deleted..." he continued, "let the games begin."

Soulja Boy then quote tweeted a post by DJ Akademkis featuring 21 Savage's asking "Or what" in response to Soulja's threats.

"Or I'm slapping the sh-- out him and metro," wrote Soulja.

He then served several low-blow attacks at Metro, bringing up the producer's deceased mother multiple times. " Metro's mother was murdered by her husband, who then killed himself, in 2022.

"Happy mothers day @MetroBoomin," taunted Soulja on X.

"You sacrificed your own mom @MetroBoomin you a puppet," he wrote. Soulja continued to unleash a fury of tweets directed at the producer, who did not respond to any of the posts.

Metro only tweeted a touching photo of his mother with the caption "Happy Mother's Day to the greatest of all time." He followed up with another post, wishing a "Happy Mother's Day to all the strong Queens out there! Especially the single ones. You are appreciated!"

One X user, a Young Thug fan page, expressed their disappointment in Soulja's behavior, writing "u mad at him for a 12 year old tweet? Dumbass."

The "Crank That" rapper angrily responded that he "don't give a f-- if it was 20 years ago...don't speak on me period da f--!"

21 Savage hopped onto X to speak up on Metro's behalf. He posted a screenshot of a XXL article with the headline: "Soulja Boy's net worth is negative, judge suggests rapper cut expenses to pay $472,000 he owes woman."

He followed up the post two hours later, writing "speaking on a n-- mama like sh-- a game you gone sh-- on yourself when I see you boy."

Soulja quote tweeted this post, writing "f-- u and his mama lil boy. Nah umma swing on u when I see you lame." He also tagged 21 Savage in a January post from XXL that reads "Soulja Boy posts apparent bank transaction receiving $1 million from Warner Music.

Soulja Boy's financial status remains in question. A judge previously wrote that the rapper had a negative net worth, but Soulja continues to claim otherwise. In April, he offered to buy TikTok from its parent company, ByteDance.

On Instagram, Soulja Boy proceeded to say that he would "slap" 21 Savage, chiding him for being from the United Kingdom. Soulja called 21 a "pussy" and a "bitch" several times throughout his explicit livestreamed rant. He then threatened to "slap the sh--" out of both 21 Savage and Metro.

"You not from Atlanta...you soft as f--," said Soulja. 21 Savage was raised in Atlanta, but was born in the United Kingdom.

"You from the U.K.," reiterated Soulja. He then attacked 21 Savage for not speaking up earlier when Metro and Kendrick Lamar took aim at his frequent collaborator, Drake.

"Where was this energy at when Drake was on Metro head?" Soulja asked. 21 Savage did not appear to take sides during this past month's heavily publicized feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar.

Well into Monday, May 13, Soulja is still tweeting threats at 21 Savage and Metro. His most recent tweet, once again, points to 21's British heritage:

"21 speaking on my name must be trippin, I cannot be scared of a n-- from Great Britain," he wrote, attaching a Union Jack flag to the end of his post.

Metro Boomin' has not posted since May 12, while 21 Savage last tweeted early on Monday morning. Only time will tell if this online spat turns into a series of diss tracks.
