Last week, Kellie Pickler returned on-stage a year after her husband, Kyle Jacobs, passed away. More recently, her late spouse's family has subpoenaed her as they wanted her to turn over his personal items.

According to legal documents obtained by RadarOnline, the late musician's parents, Reed and Sharon Jacobs, filed a subpoena against their former daughter-in-law.

The family's lawyer requested the country songstress to appear at a law office later this month to discuss Kyle's items, such as his iPhone, gun collection, and more.

"You are hereby commanded to appear at this time, date, and place specified for the purpose of giving testimony. In addition, you are to bring the items listed. Failure to appear may result in contempt of Court which could result in punishment by fine and or/imprisonment as provided by the law," the letter reads.

Kyle's gun collection reportedly included three rifles, one shotgun, and seven pistols. The family also asked her to turn over his Japanese sword, large gun safe, and custom knives.

In addition, they also wanted to get his Rolex watch, jewelry, Gibson guitar, baseball card albums, pictures, school awards, and many more.

The list doesn't stop there, as Pickler was also given a few weeks to produce all of his items from the studio closet, family photos, sheet music, music books, and more.

The only thing that they did not demand back was his wedding ring.

As of this writing, Pickler has yet to address the matter publicly.

Kellie Pickler Performs for the First Time Since Late Husband's Death

According to Billboard, Pickler took the stage of the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville to perform as part of Patsy Cline's tribute concert; it was her first performance a year after Jacobs passed away.

In an online video, the country star performed "The Woman I Am," which she co-wrote with her late husband.

"The last time I was here in the Ryman Auditorium was with him on a date night, and I know he is here with us tonight," she said during her performance.

Jacobs was found dead in February 2023. It was later determined that he passed away due to suicide, and authorities didn't find any substances in his body.
