No stranger to offering her opinions, rapper Azealia Banks chimed in on Drake and Kendrick Lamar's widely publicized feud on Sunday night. She appeared to take the side of Drake as she threw several punches at Lamar as both a person and an artist.
She first accused Lamar of being on drugs when he wrote diss tracks like "euphoria," "meet the grahams" and "Not Like Us."
"Y'all are really gassing Kendrick for being such a Drake fan that he stayed up (clearly on substance) for almost five days to write meaningless love songs in which he spilled absolutely no tea," she wrote in a lengthy Instagram post.
Featuring nothing but white text on a blank black background, Banks continued her digital tirade.
"The daughter thing is fake," she wrote, addressing Lamar's accusation that Drake is hiding a secret daughter.
Banks came after Metro Boomin' and Kanye West next, writing "Metro making bbl Drizzy beats like Kanye ain't got the fattest bbl in rap." A BBL is a Brazilian Butt Lift, a surgery which slims one's waist while enlarging their rear end. Metro Boomin' released an instrumental titled "BBL Drizzy" as his contribution to the beef.
She then pointed to astrology, noting that this feud served as a way for Lamar to put himself back in the public eye:
"As a fellow Gemini, Kendrick clearly thought this would be a clever way to relaunch himself to the forefront given the lack of pop cultural fanfare from his last release."
She added that, "Women can tell a lot about a man by the way he moves."
Her rant continued, targeting Lamar for behaving this way after winning a Pulitzer Prize. Lamar was awarded the prestigious title in 2018 for his album DAMN.
"I don't need a degree in psychology to know that For a so-called Pulitizer prize winner to use his platform in such a weak manner, completely obliterating any prestige associated with such an accolade is a clear sign of lack of self-control and quite frankly homeboy sandman and Tupac deserve that accolade for hip-hop because Kendrick is the most boring rapper ever."
She added, "Tupac is not from the west coast babe, and he'd probably think you're a cornball," twisting the virtual knife in Lamar's wound. Despite being the face of West Coast hip-hop, Tupac Shakur was born in New York City.
"Like I said, women can tell a lot about a man by the way he moves and Kendrick's INTENSE THIRST and unashamed jealousy makes it clear that.." concludes the photo. However, Banks' rant continued in the caption of the post.
"Kendrick's dick is wild trash," she declared. Her rant then returned to the accusation that Drake has had a BBL. While chastising Kanye West, she also took a swipe at Rick Ross, targeting the rapper's appearance.
"Everybody gotta stop acting like all the rap n--s don't have work done. Kanye has the biggest apple bottom in hiphop history. Rick Ross (I love u) but u have horrible veneers, had a gastric sleeve and gastric bypass, AND ARE STILL SELLING ALCOHOL?!?! you could have just called me I would have fixed it for you the natural way."
She returned the attention to Lamar, saying that his height and the size of his genitalia are why he decided to take aim at Drake.
"This is ultimately all about Kendrick's short man short dick insecurities. Why call Drake a pedophile when 17 is the legal age of consent, and in many states, it's 16!!!"
The age of consent is 16 years old in Canada and several states within the United States. However, in the United States and Canada, anyone under the age of 18 is still considered a minor in the eyes of the law.
Banks then turned her readers' eyes to politics. She asked, "Why isn't Kendrick calling about Biden whose daughter revealed that he would come into the shower with her at NINE YEARS OLD, for using his song for political promotion?" This accusation against the president stems from a rumor spread by a conservative meme page in 2022 after a couple sold Ashley Biden's old diary to Project Veritas.
President Biden's campaign team recently posted a TikTok spinning Lamar's "euphoria" as a diss into a diss on former president Donald Trump.
"Yall stupid if u think any points were made," she concluded.
