There have been rumors that Sebastian Bach might return to Skid Row following Erik Gronwall's exit, but member Dave Sabo is speaking out to reveal the truth, saying it won't happen.

The guitarist recently appeared in an episode of The Hook Rocks podcast, where he revealed that a reunion between the group and its classical-era singer is "not going to happen."

"And I say the same thing every time. I'm thankful that people have such an interest in wanting to see that happen, but I also have to reiterate that this is about being happy in the situation that you're in," he added.

Sabo further explained that the decision came from him and his bandmates Scotti Hill and Rachel Bolan, saying it was a unanimous decision. After talking about Bach's potential return, they all agreed that they "don't wanna go down that road again."

"The truth of the matter is that Rachel, Scotti and myself have continually felt the same way, that we enjoy being happy in this band and we're really happy," he said.

Although the guitarist clarified that he and his bandmates loved the songs they produced when Bach was still a member and have many memories from that era of music, they don't want to revisit "that particular aspect of our history."

Today, Halestorm's Lzzy Hale has been performing with the group for a series of shows since Gronwall's exit earlier this year, but the band has yet to find a permanent singer to fill in the spot.

On the other hand, Bach has spoken about his potential comeback almost 20 years after being fired from the group, saying there's a "good chance" that he will return because there's no other reason not to.

The recent news comes after Erik Gronwall made a shocking announcement, saying he will leave Skid Row to focus on his health.

In a statement on social media, the musician revealed that he went through leukemia treatments in 2021. Unfortunately, as a result of the treatments and transplant, his immune system was compromised.

He likened his immune system to that of a 4-year-old, adding that it would take a while to build up his resistance again.

"I love Skid Row, I have nothing but respect for the guys in the band but I love and respect my health more," he added.
