Enchanting, a former 1017 rapper, has reportedly died at the age of 26. It was confirmed by some of her peers in the rap industry, including the record label founder Gucci Mane.

Initially, there were reports circulating online which stated that the musician was fighting for her life in the ICU. Many people speculated on the actual condition of the rapper, and some even claimed that she was dead.

However, her sister denied the false information, saying that she wasn't dead but was indeed spending time in the intensive care unit to recover from an undisclosed health issue.

Today, her alleged boyfriend, who goes by Lilcj Kasino, took to social media to confirm that the rapper had already passed away, claiming that she was previously on life support and her family decided to pull the plug.

He then praised his girlfriend for all the hours she spent in the studio to make music.

According to a report by The Shade Room, Enchanting was in critical condition from a reported overdose, which eventually led to her tragic death.

"She came to my house the last four days to get clean. She tried her best and I did everything I could to help her, she tried," a representative from her management reportedly told the outlet.

Gucci Mane took to his official Instagram account to pay tribute to the late artist by posting her photo and writing in the caption: "So sad to have to say R.I.P to such a great young lady, a true star. We gone all miss you, Chant."

There was also an issue surrounding Enchanting's death, as people appeared to have blamed Gucci Mane for the musician's passing.

However, his wife Keyshia Kaoir came to his defense in the comment section, writing, "Leave my husband alone! He signs these artist to help them & give them a better life! I wish it wasn't like this ! Chant we love you baby girl ! RIH."

Other fans also chimed in and defended the rapper, with one writing, "Gucci gave these artists an opportunity to make it out of the trenches! What they do with their lives outside of music is NOT GUCCI FAULT MANE YALL buggin!!!"

Enchanting began her music career in her late teens. Many fans regard her for her "ethereal vocals."
