Terri Lynn Kathey, popularly known for her gospel and blues songs and renowned around the Nashville music scene, was initially reported missing, and her family pleaded with the public to help them find her.

According to a family friend named Kerry Pharr, who spoke with Taste of Country, the musician, who also performed under the moniker Terri Lynn Blues, and her husband, Kevin Kathey, has a courier service business based in Nashville, TN.

In the early hours of June 16, Kathey left her home to pick up a package at Music Valley Drive around the city. She later used her debit card at a local Hardee's around 6:30 a.m.

The package was supposed to be delivered to Chattanooga, but the singer never completed the transaction.

Her husband later sought help from the police and reported her missing. Authorities were able to ping her phone on Monteagle Mountain in Tennessee. There has been no activity on her mobile device or card ever since.

Kevin Kathey drove to her last ping location, hoping to find the singer, but she had yet to appear, and there were no traces of her around.

Taking to her Facebook page, Kerry Pharr shared an image of the singer to plead with the public and asked prayers for her safety.

"If you have seen her please call the Nashvile police or connect with me and I will communicate with her husband Kevin. This is very concerning, she and Kevin were just with us on our last Tuesday night's Livestream sharing the gospel in music and song. Please pray!!" the post reads.

The couple has been active within the Nashville music scene because aside from Terri Lynn, her husband is also a drummer who played with Emmylou Harris, Tommy Overstreet, and more.

He is also the owner of Next Exit Production, which handles music production and voiceover sessions.

Days after the search, Kerry Pharr broke the devastating news on social media as she confirmed that the singer was found dead in her car near Monteagle, TN.

There are no further details behind her death, but it was stated that she died possibly due to a heart attack.

Kerry Pharr later held a prayer and singing livestream on Facebook as a tribute to the late singer.
