Apollo Nida has hardly tried to hide his overwhelming dislike of almost ex-wife, Phaedra Parks. Fans of The Real Housewives of Atlanta have watched as the couple married, had two sons and then abruptly crashed and burned. Nida was arrested for a slew of financial crimes including Identity theft and bank fraud last January and that was the beginning of the end for these two. To be fair, Nida was an ex-con when Parks married him several years ago, so she had a bit of an idea what he was capable of.
Parks has insisted that she invested her time and energy in a man that she believed had changed his ways and once it became apparent that he was actively still pursuing a life of crime to provide for their family, she was done. In the season premiere of RHOA that aired last Sunday, Nida was furious that his wife was unsupportive and hadn't accompanied him to court for his sentencing. She insisted that their two small kids were her only priority and getting them away from the chaos was more important than anything else.
Nida has been locked up since September, serving the very beginning of an 8-year sentence but that doesn't mean that he hasn't attempted to have contact with Parks. She has avoided his jail house calls but wasn't able to prevent him from sending her a handwritten letter. In it, according to a report by Hollywood Life, Nida unleashed a pile of insults on the woman he once loved.
"Phaedra said that Apollo called her a b-tch, selfish, fat, conceited, and a wife that ain't loyal. He even told her that if it wasn't for their kids, he wouldn't care if he saw her fat ass ever again. He said it to her in a letter just like that."
Of course Parks is way too classy to respond to Nida's childish attempt at being hurtful, but this guy seems like he could become a problem. What Parks wants most is to be able to focus on getting her feet under her as a single mother but Nida seems like the kind of guy that's not going to go away anytime soon, don't you think?
