Apparently, Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak is no stranger to current hip-hop. During an interview with ESPN, Sajak spit a few lines from Rae Sremmurd's hit single "No Type."
Sajak recently appeared on ESPN's Highly Questionable and alternated bars with Dan LeBatard's father. As one can imagine, Sajak's rap skills took everyone by surprise, including one of the show's hosts, Bomani Jones, who chuckled and asked, "What just happened?"
Take a look at the clip below.
Following the success of their singles "No Type" and "No Flex Zone," Rae Sremmurd recently announced the release of their debut album, SremmLife. The album will be the first LP released under Mike WiLL Made It's Ear Drummer imprint.
"The album came together so easily and organically — it was really a fun album to make," Mike WiLL said of the album. "I'm just as excited about this album as I was about Miley Cyrus' album, as I was about Future's album. This album is as special to me as any project I've ever been involved with. People are learning now that these guys are superstars, they're here to stay. SremmLife is just round one."
The duo recently released "Throw Sum Mo" featuring Nicki Minaj and Young Thug from their forthcoming album. They are also slated to be featured on Mike WiLL's Ransom mixtape, which he called his version of Dr. Dre's The Chronic.
"Getting back to basics," Mike WiLL said. "Not really commercial-driven or anything like that, I'm just focusing on the underground, you know what I'm saying? There's some new faces from the underground, you gotFuture on there, you got 2 Chainz, you got Gucci, Chief Keef, PeeWee [Longway], [Young] Thug, Rae Sremmurd, Two-9 ... People that's coming up in the underground, people that's already been running the underground, people that I work closely with, you know what I'm saying? I feel like it's my version of my Chronic. You know what I'm saying? When Dr. Dre came out with The Chronic, it's something slick like that."
Ransom drops on Dec. 15.
