Drake's music is designed to hit you right in the feels. It channels the emotion of Aubrey Graham, better known as Drake, and blind sides you when you least expect it. As a result of that emotion, some members of the internet community and Drake detractors have long believed that the "0-100 / The Catch" rapper cried a lot. Home for the holidays, Drake had the chance to get some quality family time in and posed the question to his mother on why she thinks people believe Drake cries so much. In two Instagram videos Drake posted, his mother summed it up by saying he has a "sensitive soul."
The phenomenon of Drake crying and Drake tears has become larger then the rapper itself. There is a whole line of merchandise out there on the internet, including mugs, t-shirts and pins. Drake's emotions has been the butt of countless jokes on social media as well.
Drake is currently channeling that "sensitive soul" into a new album that we have as one of the most anticipated albums of 2015. It has been reported that Views From The 6 will arrive in spring of 2015 and Drake tweeted out that 2015 would be a big year for his music. The follow up to Never Was The Same, the three songs he released earlier this fall give fans a sense of what Drake is working on at the moment. He has kept fans abreast of his studio work with consistent soundcloud updates through remixes and free tracks that have defined his 2014.
The Toronto rapper heads into 2015 with two Grammy nominations and an even more dominant position within the music community despite not having released an album in 2014. Drake appears to be just getting started.
