Young Money rapper, Tyga is being sued by his former management company. According to a TMZ report, C&J Management is suing Tyga to the tune of $4 million as they claim he illegally fired them in 2013 and hired new management. C&J Management claims they were instrumental in creating the star that Tyga has become today saying they "turned him form a relative nobody to a world known superstar." They introduced him to Cash Money, so there may be some weight behind the accusations, but these lawsuits are always incredibly difficult to prove.
Tyga has not commented on the situation as of yet.
This comes as Tyga continues to fight the good fight to get his album, The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty, on Cash Money Records released. It has been delayed countless times and was just delayed once more a few days ago. His relationship with Birdman and Cash Money has become tenuous, with Tyga making Lil Wayne type of statements saying he wants off the label.
This is not the first time Tyga has had to show his face in court. As XXL notes, he was slapped with multiple lawsuits in September 2013 over his "Make It Nasty" video and then allegedly stealing jewelry. He was forced to pay $200,000 in the jewelry case.
With these additional legal troubles heaped on top, Tyga is looking at a very messy outlook for 2015 with the additional legal trouble that could lie ahead.
However, not everything is doom and gloom for the rapper. He has recorded an album with Chris Brown titled Fan of a Fan: The Album, which, unless Birdman finds a way to get involved, seems to be on track to have a regular scheduled release on Feb. 24.
