Chief Keef, as is expected, released a new song "Free Throw" out of the blue last night, Feb. 11. Unveiled by DJ Fly Guy, "Free Throw" sees Sosa reportedly reunite with his frequent producer/collaborator Young Chop for a typical Keef song. This is ahead of the Thot Breaker mixtape, and he is also collaborating with Andy Milonakis.
Picking up right where he left off with his latest tracks like "Voodoo" or "Ain't Nothing," Sosa continues the themes of guns, street life and cars. This is a Sosa-only track without any features, as Chief Keef takes on the roll of the verses and the hooks, delivering them with his time-tested measured and somewhat garbled approach.
He comes out firing in the opening hook:
Gun bangin' like the trunk
I was wit it from the jump
We got guns, we don't jump
We don't run, we don't jump
Expect this track to be part of Three Kings's Remain Loyal mixtape, which you heard the shout in the beginning of the track. Stream the song below via DJ Fly Guy's SoundCloud:
Fans still await plenty of full-length material from Sosa that is supposed to be released in 2015. He has his Thot Breaker set to drop in just two days on Valentine's Day, so you can set the mood for a night cap with you, your special someone and Sosa. A joint album with his cousin Fredo Santana titled Blood Thicker Than Water is also set to drop at some point during the year.
In the past 24 hours, Sosa's Twitter and Instagram have been buzzing with a new collaboration he has been working on with a most unlikely of candidates: comedian, writer and actor Andy Milonakis. Nothing has been revealed about it yet, but Milonakis has been tweeting that they have recorded more than one song.
