Madonna dropped her 13th studio album, Rebel Heart, last week to tons of anxious fans. The release suffered a few obstacles last year when a few songs leaked throughout the Internet. That whole ordeal has since been rectified, and the album is looking to make some noise on the charts behind singles like "Living for Love," "Illuminati" and "Ghosttown." The Queen of Pop shared Rebel Heart on Spotify today, March 10, HotNewHipHop noted. The entire record, from the Nicki Minaj-aided "B***h I'm Madonna" to the closer "Wash All Over Me," can be streamed below.
Billboard gave the album a positive review.
"Madonna has never gotten the credit she deserves as a musician, or as an album artist. Her essential interests are unchanging -- dancefloor ecstasy, European balladry, 1960s pop classicism -- but her expression of them finds new articulations," the publication wrote. "Rebel Heart has 14 producers working in seven different teams and still it sounds exactly like a Madonna album."
Madonna performed most recently at the BRIT Awards last month, giving the audience a live preview of "Living for Love." Unfortunately during the show, the singer took a spill. She recovered nicely, but media outlets picked up the story because it was an uncommon occurrence for a Madonna performance.
"I didn't hurt my butt, I hurt my head. I did," she explained. "I know how to fall, I've fallen off my horse many times and I tucked and I have good core strength ... but the thing is, I had a little bit of a whiplash and I smacked the back of my head so there was a man standing over me with a flashlight until about 3 a.m. making sure that I was still compos mentis."
Madonna announced her world tour in support of the Rebel Heart LP recently. The tour kicks off in August.
