After weeks of teasing a new song and album through her Facebook and Instagram, Aussie pop star Kylie Minogue has finally delivered. Following a leak that likely pushed the release date up six weeks, the "Can't Get You Outta My Head" singer released a spankin' new dance single "Into The Blue," complete with a lipstick themed lyric video this morning (Jan. 27).
Minogue has also unveiled more details about her upcoming 12th studio album Kiss Me Once, including a full track list!
"Into The Blue" follows Minogue's recent pattern of releasing solid, mid-tempo dance music. Does anything particularly stand out about the track? Well, the answer is no. Minogue delivers a fun, winding vocal performance complete with a lot of "ooo"s, which is never a particularly bad thing.
The beat... is fine. The production... once again, fine. We here at Music Times wish there was something more to say about "Into The Blue," but after repeated listens... it just comes up short.
Her fans are sure to love it, though.
In other Minogue news, the pushed up timeline of her new album has come with a complete tracklisting! "Into The Blue" is now available for sale over at iTunes, as well as a pre-order of the album Kiss Me Once. Alongside the pre-sale, the official tracklist for the album has been unveiled.
