Pharrell may just be coming off a huge 2013, with two massive hits ("Blurred Lines," "Get Lucky") but that doesn't mean the prolific everything guy is going to stop. Today (Jan. 31), a hot new track featuring Pharrell from Major Lazer's upcoming EP has surfaced online, and it's a scorcher.
"Aerosol Can" popped up on SoundCloud and YouTube and packs quite the punch. Pharrell proved he could sing on "Get Lucky," but on "Aerosol Can" he reminds fans why he rose to fame in the first place: his mad rap skills.
Over a minimalistic, tribal beat highlighted with some spray-painting noises (of course), Pharrell spits out rhyme after rhyme with building intensity. He simply bounces over the already bopping beat, moving with the flow in an incredibly seamless manner. It's an impressive turn from Pharrell that should not be surprising at all but still manages to capture the listener.

"Aerosol Can" comes from Major Lazer's upcoming EP Apocalypse Soon, which is set to drop on Feb. 24. Besides Pharrell, other collaborations include Sean Paul, Mr. Fox and more.
The Major Lazer album isn't the only project Pharrell has in the well. After nearly eight years out of the solo artist game, Pharrell is prepping a new album for 2014. The album will be the official follow-up to 2006's In My Mind.
