Amidst the turmoil surrounding Migos, especially Offset, for their involvement in an April 18th incident at Georgia Southern University where the members and their crew were arrested on drug and gun charges, the Atlanta rap trio has still managed to put out new music. Their latest track titled "On Top" crosses state boundaries as they collaborate with Houston-based rappers Sauce Walka and Sosamann on a trapped out Zaytoven-produced beat for a new single titled "On Top." The track is slated to appear on Hoodrichkeem's upcoming Tweet Tape Part 2 mixtape. This track serves as a primer for upcoming music on their new artist album YRN: Tha Album.
The track is a celebration of the trio's recent success as they count their money from the top of the rap game in their lambos and mansion. The Zaytoven beat is another fine example of his street0driven production that has earned him credits with just about every rapper in Atlanta. His cohorts on the track praise the good life they lead now and give a shout out to Offset who remains behind bars still after he was denied bond stemming from the earlier arrest in April.
I hit the gas right before she put her foot it
Plug on my phone said he got Cuba Goodin'
I keep a tight circle, you n*ggas can't fit in
I might put a trap in the Holiday Inn
Free the squad, let 'em out of the pen'

Migos are prepping to release their new album YRN: Tha Album on July 31. The trio had to push back the original release date from June 16 due to the outstanding legal circumstances surrounding the group, which also forced the postponement of their May tour with OG Maco. Their June date will still mark the launch of their Yung Rich Nation clothing line.
