Ashley Monroe's 2015 tour in support of her new album The Blade will be getting a later start than originally intended. On Wednesday (Sept. 23), the "On to Something Good" singer announced that she has had to postpone six tour dates in October and November.
Originally set to kick off Oct. 1 in Macon, Georgia, Monroe's The Blade Tour will now begin on Oct. 27 at New York City's Bowery Ballroom, The Boot reports.
Four of the six tour dates postponed were at the start of Monroe's tour (Oct. 1, Oct. 8, Oct. 9 and Oct. 10) while two later postponed dates occur in mid-November. Monroe, who made the tour cancellation announcement on her Facebook, didn't give a specific reason for the postponed shows. She chalked it up to "unforeseen circumstances."
Ashley Monroe's Postponed Tour Dates:
10/01: Macon, GA @ Cox Capitol Theatre
10/08: Indianapolis, IN @ The Vogue
10/09: Grand Rapids, MI @ Intersection
10/10: Columbus, OH @ Rumba Cafe
11/13: Springfield, IL @ Boondocks
11/21: Birmingham, IL @ Workplay Theatre
Monroe promised that the six shows will be rescheduled, but for fans who can no longer make the concerts, refunds are available at the original point of purchase.
Ahead of her own headlining tour, Monroe will be acting as support for Rascall Flatts, Little Big Town and Miranda Lambert shows throughout the rest of September and the very beginning of October.
Monroe is touring in support of her third studio album The Blade, which was released on July 24.
