Lily Allen is looking to spread the word of Sheezus on American soil this spring. Last month, the "Hard Out Here" singer revealed the release date, tracklist and artwork for her third studio album, but today (April 8), it was announced that she will be coming to the U.S. to promote the album.
According to Consequence of Sound, following the release of Sheezus on May 6, Allen will perform a trio of shows on New York City.
She's scheduled to appear on The Today Show on May 14. One day later, Allen will give her first American concert since 2009 at the Highline Ballroom in NYC. After presumably doing other promotional work, she'll wrap back to the city on May 23 for a gig on Live with Kelly and Michael.
The May trip will mark Allen's first live return to the States in four years. She last toured the U.S. in April 2009 as a part of her It's Not Me, It's You World Tour.
Allen's American promotional dates will come soon after the release of Sheezus, her first album since Feb. 2009.
In between her sophomore and junior musical efforts, Allen took time out of the spotlight to get married to Sam Cooper, with whom she has two daughters.
