On the heels of his Nipsey Hussle and 50 Cent-assisted “I Wanna Benz,” YG has decided to drop two more new songs and he even sent out a tweet possibly hinting at the release of a complete project before the year ends.
The first of the pair is a freestyle over Goapele’s “Closer” featuring his fellow 4Hunnid rhymer, Slim400. On the track, YG find himself reflecting on life experiences, friends lost and his rise to stardom.
“4Hunnid records, 400 necklaces / The top models love me, but think I'm too reckless / So she f*cking with me from a distance but the squares ain't really what she want / But jeopardizing her career is what she want / Her friends think I'm bad for her image, but she don’t,” he raps.
On the second track, YG and Slim link up with Sacramento lyricist Mozzy over production by P-Lo.
“The city mad because everybody ain't got it / You do what you want when you poppin but everybody ain't poppin! / I’m the only one out the city dropping / So they gotta f*ck with me, they ain't got an option,” YG rhymes.
Accompanying the Bompton rapper’s triple serving of new music, he sent out a message via Twitter, leaving many to believe he is prepping to drop a full-length body of work.
“STAY TUNED … IT AINT OVER DOE,”he wrote. He also shared an image of himself in front of a graffitied wall with the words “Off My Bullsh*t.” He later encouraged pleased fans to tweet using the hashtag #OFFMYBULLSH*T.
YG’s sophomore album, Still Krazy, featuring the single “Twist My Fingaz,” is currently in the works. Check back with us for more updates.
