Despite his recent personal issues, Paterson, New Jersey rapper and recent pop sensation Fetty Wap is well known for his philanthropic favors. The rapper threw two thousand dollars over a balcony at the Garden State Mall to eager fans in a gesture of goodwill. He held a massive turkey giveaway in his impoverished New Jersey home for those who could not afford a Thanksgiving dinner. In one of his most extravagant acts of magnanimity, the rapper gave his longtime friend and Remmy Boyz member a BWM i8 as a token of how far they'd come in life. Now, in yet another act of kindness from the 2015 musical sensation, Fetty Wap has released a reassuring video to a hospitalized fan who needed a bit of positivity.
The fan, named Anthony Skipper, was sent to the hospital after a seizure-induce injury to his brain "stemming from the disrupted flow of oxygen to the head" according to HipHopDX.
Fetty sent the patient a video of himsef singing "Trap Queen" to help keep Anthony's spirits up during these trying times.
The Instagram account associated with Anthony told his followers exactly what happened, and spread an aspirational message to as many viewers as possible. The caption read, "Papa watching his special video that was sent to him by his favorite rapper @fettywap1738 This truly put he icing on the cake of another great day! Can't thank his Goddy and his Guardian Angel enough Love that I have two beautiful strong women that love Anthony just as much as I do to make his dreams come true!"
In addition to the video sent to young Anthony, Fetty has involved himself in yet another effort of goodwill. According to HipHopDX Fetty released a statement in support of a child who chose to go to school without his glass eye after seeing Fetty Wap appear in public. He wrote, "All I wanna do is show ppl that it's not how you look or what you see it's how you see it and what your looking for from yourself. I appreciate his confidence I appreciate you taking the time out for me and thank you for being a fan or me as a person and thank lil man for being a fan of Fetty Wap 100."
