Now there is definitive proof that Paul is not dead. After suffering from a viral infection earlier this summer and postponing the start of his Out There Tour, yesterday (June 24) Paul McCartney posted a short YouTube announcement declaring his new health and the upcoming start of his live trek.
The 24-second video features McCartney in what appears to be a rehearsal space, and the former Beatles member happily declares that he's back in good health (and continues to establish himself as the goofiest old dude in rock).
"Hey, how ya doing everybody? Everybody's been asking me how I feel. I feel great, thank you very much for asking," McCartney said at the beginning of the message. "This is also just a note to say the dates that have been postponed, the concerts and the shows, have been rescheduled for September and October, so come and see us then."
He then proceeded to break out into some air guitar.
Originally scheduled to begin on June 14 in Lubbock, Texas, the new leg of McCartney's extensive tour will kick off on July 5 in Albany, New York. Earlier this month, McCartney announced the rescheduled tour dates, which will take place this fall.
