Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj are reuniting in a new song! Two years after "Side to Side," the two female artists are, once again, collaborating.
Ariana Grande Teases Collab With Nicki Minaj
The good news comes from Grande herself who posted a short video on Twitter to tease her next track. On the 25-second clip she posted on Monday, May 28, the 24-year-old lip-synched to her unreleased new track.
The title of the track is "The Light Is Coming." She announced the track a few weeks ago as a response to an inquiring fan on Twitter. It will be the singer-songwriter's second single released from her new album, Sweetener, due sometime this year.
On the track, she sings, "The light is coming to get back everything the darkness stole." Meanwhile, Minaj's verse has the lines, "Can't let a EFF boy EFF up my nice vibez."
The former Disney actress previously released the album's lead single, "No Tears Left To Cry."
Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj Are Friends
This is not the first time that the two superstars are collaborating. Grande and Minaj previously worked together and released "Side to Side," a track from Dangerous Woman which peaked at the fourth spot of Billboard's Hot 100. They also both appeared on Jessie J's 2014 hit, "Bang Bang."
From constantly working together, the two seemed to have created a close bond. On Instagram, the "Chun-Li" a gift she received from Grande.
"Both my fans and I would cut a b**** for my little sissy Ariana Grande," she wrote on an Instagram Story. "She bought me this Chanel choker to match hers. Ugh! Her mind."
Minaj recently praised Grande who, she said, is the "queen of flawless vocals."
The 35-year-old also has a new album coming out this year. Titled Queen, the follow-up to The Pinkprint is scheduled to be released in August.
Ariana Grande Confirms Romance With Pete Davidson
Grande also seemingly made her relationship with Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson Instagram official by posting a snap on her account. After weeks of rumors and speculations, the singer posted a short video of her hand while roasting a marshmallow. In the same video, another hand appeared.
Evening Standard reports that the unnamed person's tattoos are very similar to Davidson's. While Grande did not name or tag her rumored new boyfriend, fans are taking it as a confirmation that they are indeed dating.
Grande reportedly broke up with her long-time boyfriend, Mac Miller, earlier this year.
