As Kate Bush's "Running Up The Hill (A Deal With God)" continues to dominate charts after the song was featured on the fourth season of "Stranger Things," actor Joe Keery is set to release his second solo album in a few months.
Going by the name Djo, the 30-year-old star announced his second album titled "DECIDE," which will be released on September 16.
To promote his upcoming record, the singer teased fans by releasing a new song called "Change," which Billboard described as a track that heavily resembles Tame Impala's pop-funk jam.
The album is a follow-up to his successful 2019 debut, "TWENTY TWENTY."
His upcoming project was teased last week through a "Djo hotline," allowing fans to call (928)-8-DECIDE to hear 8-bit audio.
Little did new fans know that Keery had been making music since he was a teenager. He used to be a part of the Chicago band Post Animal before venturing into a solo music career.
His upcoming album was created during the COVID-19 pandemic with engineer and musician Adam Thein.
All the songs were recorded at the Sound Factory in Los Angeles, California.
According to the announcement, "DECIDE" is the aural history of the actor's late 20s.
"It features reflections on growth, relationships and navigating it all in a world filled with technology at its center. It's his sonic ambitions however that take these introspections and melt them into a warped reality with each layered synth pulling the listener's emotional strings," the statement reads.
Djo has been performing in festivals like Shaky Knees, Bottle Rock, and Boston Calling to promote his music.
He's also set to perform at the Lollapalooza, Austin Limits Festival, and See Hear Now later this year.
Joe Keery isn't the only "Stranger Things" actor working in the music industry as Finn Wolfhard, who plays the role of Mike Wheeler, has toured and released songs with Calpurnia and The Aubreys.
Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Sinclair) has also dropped several tracks.
In addition, Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson) released two songs from the band Work in Progress.
Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Charlie Heaton, Shannon Purser, Maya Hawke, and Dacre Montgomery are other stars that also work as musicians.
"Stranger Things" season 4 volume 2 will only feature two lengthy episodes, which will be available for streaming on Netflix starting July 1.
