On a Discord channel with fans, the musician told his supporters that the reason why his third album has been delayed is because of his collaboration with the trio, saying he wanted things to fall into the right places.

"Arite so parrrrt of the reason I had to push back AL3 is cos of the nuts reaction to turn on the lights that jus made me wanna finish it and get that s*** ouuutttttt," he later confirmed on Instagram.

Last week, the DJ and producer took to his TikTok account to reveal that his album would be delayed for "about three weeks."

He said it's his favorite thing he's ever made so he doesn't want to rush the end.

"I see you all in my DM's n s*** and I hella appreciate it. It inspires me every day to try n make it better. So thank you, and give us a sec," he added.

Regarding its official release date, Fred Again.. confirmed that the new song will arrive this week after a fan asked him about when is it coming out.

The upcoming collaboration with Swedish House Mafia is a follow-up to his previous single release titled "Jungle."

Released last month, the song sampled Elley Duhé's "Immortal." He got help from Four Tet's Kiernan Hebden to produce the song.

He had two albums last year titled "Actual Life (April 14 - December 17 2020)" released in April and "Actual Life 2 (February 2 - October 15 2021)" in November.

According to Mixmag, this is not the first time Fred worked with the trio—Sebastian Ingrosso, Axwell, and Steve Angello—as he was listed in the credits as a producer on their song "Calling On" from their first album "Paradise Again."

The debut album was released this year featuring one of the biggest songs of 2022 "Moth to a Flame."
