Quavo has remained silent over the past few months after his Takeoff's death, but it appears that the musician is making a big comeback this month in honor of his good pal.
According to Uproxx, the 1/3 of Migos will be one of the performers at this weekend's highly-anticipated Grammy Awards during the show's "In Memoriam" segment. The rapper is expected to perform his tribute song "Without You" together with Maverick City Music, a gospel band.
Aside from the hip-hop artist, the Recording Academy also confirmed other performers for the memorial segment. Fleetwood Mac's Christine McVie will be honored by Bonnie Rait with the track "Songbird" along with Mick Fleetwood and Sheryl Crow.
Kacey Musgraves will also pay tribute to Loretta Lynn with the song "Coal Miner's Daughter."
The recent news comes a month after Quavo released an emotional song accompanied with a music video in tribute for his late nephew titled "Without You."
Takeoff, whose real name is Kirsnik Khari Ball, has passed away on November 1, 2022, after a shooting incident that took place at a bowling alley in Houston, Texas.
The suspect who has been charged in the death of the rapper, identified as Patrick Xavier Clark, has been reportedly released from jail earlier this month after posting a $1 million bond.
