The estate of the late rapper Coolio has been served with a creditor's claim for a six-figure debt reportedly owed by the artist at the time of his death.

Radar Online was able to access court documents that revealed Randa Davis, an alleged assault victim of Coolio, is demanding a payment totaling $173,069.28.

In 2013, Coolio was met with a $104k default judgment from the plaintiff, Ms. Ruth E.P. Miller-Davies.

This resulted from a lawsuit that began in 2009 after a supposed encounter at an MGM Club V performance by the rapper himself.

Davis submitted a suit alleging Coolio inflicted intentional physical harm on her.

Specifically, she claimed that after asking her to look at the crowd below, Coolio pushed her from behind and went on to "bull ride" her.

According to Davis' account of events, this happened within 5-10 minutes of his initial request.

According to the woman, as soon as Coolio moved his body, she experienced a sharp pain in her lower back. She declared that his actions caused her "serious and permanent injuries."

Additionally, she claimed to have gone through many hardships, such as pain, disability, mental anguish, medical expenses, wage loss, and an inability to obtain future earning potential.

Jarel Posey (also known as Jarez Posey) has been handling Coolio's financial matters for some time now.

He determined that the value of the rapper's estate is at least $300k, although a final assessment is yet to be made.

Coolio Cause of Death

On September 28, 2022, the world was saddened to hear of the passing of Coolio at age 59. Since statistics show US male life expectancy at 78 years and lower for Black individuals at 74, many have wondered what led to his untimely death.

It shocked many when rapper Coolio, renowned for his 1995 hit "Gangsta's Paradise," passed away unexpectedly at Jarez Posey's residence in Los Angeles.

At the time of the passing, the cause of death was not made known to the public.

Nonetheless, five months on, TMZ reported it had been an unintentional overdose of fentanyl - a potent manufactured opioid-based medication used for pain relief.

Jarez, the representative for the Coolio's relatives, divulged to the tabloid that toxicology tests revealed traces of heroin and methamphetamines in the rapper's system.

Furthermore, it appears that Coolio's asthma and longstanding smoking habit played a role in his demise.
