Well, this wasn't a part of the plan. Last month Gucci Mane announced that he plans to release eight more projects this year, despite the fact that he is incarcerated, but he made no mention of the mixtape he dropped Sunday.
Gucci Mane released his 14-track I Am Trap mixtape yesterday and it features appearances by Wale and Lil Durk.
The Atlanta rapper released a list of his forthcoming projects via Twitter. The list included a collaborative mixtape with Chief Keef, a sequel to Harder 2 Kill and a Christmas mixtape.
Prior to the big announcement, GuWop dropped two albums, The Oddfather and Trap House 4.
The I Am Trap tracklist and mixtape stream are as follows:
1. Intro
2. She F**kin Errbody
3. White Diamonds
4. Boss Shit
5. My B***hes Get Money
6. Brick N A Brick (Remix) Blaze Servin Maceo, Kourtney Money
7. Bossed Up
8. Roll One
9. Out the Bowl
10.Used To It ft Wale
11. Ridin Foregin
12. Tore Up
13. War ft Lil Durk Wit Us (Remix)
14. Me Ok (Remix)
In August, Gucci was sentenced to 39 months in an Atlanta court for a firearms charge.
The judge has also requested that he be sent to an institution on the West Coast with a drug rehabilition program, so as to separate him from bad influences in Atlanta.
His amount of time served, now at 11 months, will count toward his total incarceration.
He is slated to be officially sentenced in July 2015. Until then, he will remain in jail.
