In the wake of her husband Kyle Jacobs' passing, Kellie Pickler expresses gratitude to those who have held her up in this challenging period.
On February 17, 2023, the world said goodbye to a beloved husband who was only 49 years old.
For the first time, his wife, Kellie, felt it appropriate to share some of their special moments.
She told People magazine: "My husband always knew what to say when I was overcome with worry in difficult times. He taught me that rather than attempting to fix everything with action - sometimes it is best to be still."
"Thank you to my family, friends, and supporters for the countless letters, calls, and messages you have sent my way,' she said. 'It has touched my soul, helping me get through the darkest time. As many of you have told me, you are all in my prayers."
Kellie has revealed her intention to organize a special tribute for her late husband this autumn.
Describing it as an "intimate memorial," the suffering wife remarked, "This is what Kyle would have wanted."
Before signing off, Kellie added, "Love & Blessings."
The life of Kyle Jacobs came to a tragic end earlier this year, as he took his own life with a gunshot wound in the Nashville home he shared with Pickler.
Analysis of the toxicology report showed no drugs were present in Kyle's system. However, it did note that he had faced some medical issues, such as pseudoseizures, gastrointestinal bleeding, and elevated liver enzymes caused by chronic alcohol use.

At 1:21 pm on February 17, a call to emergency services was made from Kyle Jacobs and Kellie Pickler's home due to an alarming discovery.
Upon waking up, former "American Idol" star could not locate her husband. Accompanied by an assistant, they dialed 911 as they could not unlock an upstairs bedroom.
Nashville police and Fire Department personnel responded to a call from Kyle Jacobs' home, where the 49-year-old resident was found dead in an upstairs bedroom/office. Upon
investigation, authorities determined that Kyle's death was an apparent suicide and spoke on behalf of the Police Department and confirmed that everyone else at the residence was safe.
In the following weeks, it was declared that Kellie of SiriusXM's The Highway would depart from her role. Just 24 hours before the tragic loss of Jacobs, he had been commemorating his hard work in achieving a platinum record with Lee Brice's album Hey World.
