Eyewitnesses said Capaldi rushed to the woman and helped her as he dialed 999. He also did not leave the scene until the elderly was taken to the hospital.

"Lewis is not just a superstar, but a superhero," one said. "We saw him helping an old woman who had collapsed on the ground and it turned out he'd rushed over to help when he saw her."

The insider also told The Sun that Capaldi and his friends stayed with the woman until the help arrived. Because of his action, the "Someone You Loved" hitmaker received praise for his "massive heart."

Capaldi has been spending his time off after announcing his break from music. He has also been staying at his home in London following his shortened Glastonbury performance.

Lewis Capaldi's Health Issue

Capaldi announced in an Instagram post that he would cancel his scheduled shows because of his struggles before the release of his album "Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent."

"But the truth is I'm still learning to adjust to the impact of my Tourette's and on Saturday, it became obvious that I need to spend much more time getting my mental and physical health in order, so I can keep doing everything I love for a long time to come," he said. "I'll be back as soon as I possibly can."

He deals with Tourette's Syndrome while also struggling with panic attacks.

Before the incident at the Glastonbury Festival, he was also seen having a hard time singing during his performance in Frankfurt, Germany, due to tics.

His fans notably sang with him until he was able to sing on his own again.

Capaldi then canceled a number of shows, citing issues with his voice after a voice specialist in Sweden advised him to take a vocal rest to avoid damaging his cords.
