Slipknot will be travelling across different cities in Europe and the United Kingdom in 2024 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their first album ever; check out all the details below.
According to Consequence, the group first teased fans over the weekend as they shared a video with the title "Here Comes the Pain" which contains clips from their previous performances.
Then, they finally revealed that they will perform in different cities to celebrate the big milestone of their debut self-titled album.
Percussionist Shawn "Clown" Crahan spoke with Metal Hammer to express his love for Europe, saying it's been 25 years since they first played in the continent and they would come back to perform ever since.
"I'm so excited to bring our 25 year Anniversary tour to Europe and the UK. Be prepared for an energy you've never experienced before. It's happening," he added.
Slipknot Will Perform For the First Time Without Jay Weinberg
This will be the first time the band will go on tour since the departure of their drummer Jay Weinberg, who replaced Joey Jordinson a decade ago.
Members that will be present in the upcoming tour will be Crahan, Corey Taylor, who will also have his solo tour in 2024, Jim Root, Mick Thomson, and Sid Wilson.
In addition to their shows in Europe and in the UK, the band also has a string of festival appearances in the United States next year.
