• Fall Out Boy Perform "Centuries" from 'American Beauty/American Psycho' on 'The Tonight Show', Detail Songwriting Process

    Fall Out Boy is looking to have its new album American Beauty/American Psycho to go down in history for "Centuries." And on the album release date, there's little promotion better than stopping by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, which is exactly what FOB did last night (Jan. 20). To celebrate the release of AB/AP, the Chicago rockers took to the late night stage for a performance of "Centuries" and also gave a little insight into the track in a behind-the-scenes video.
  • Linkin Park Cancels Tour Due to Medical Emergency

    Nu-metal veterans Linkin Park have been forced to cancel the remainder of their current tour due to a serious leg injury suffered by lead vocalist Chester Bennington. According to a statement posted to the Linkin Park website, Bennington's injuries require "immediate medical attention" and have resulted in the cancellation of the remaining dates on the band's Hunting Party tour through Feb. 14.

    Lou Pearlman was synonymous with making boy bands like NSync and the Backstreet Boys successful in the 1990s. They have since sued Pearlman multiple times, the first lawsuit alleging that they only made $300,000 after a tour that raked in millions for his company. In a new clip for Backstreet Boys: Show 'Em What You're Made Of documentary, the group visit Pearlman's old house - the one that their hard work likely helped pay for.

    The rumor mill ran off the tracks the past few days with speculation that Jay Z joined a group of investors that included Carmelo Anthony (what else is he going to do now that the Knicks are so bad) to buy major New York City hip-hop radio station Hot 97 from its parent, Emmis Communications after he was attacked on air by popular and influential host and DJ Funkmaster Flex. This rumor, which came from homophobic gossip blog MediaTakeOut.com who vehemently defended their "rock solid source," has proven to be very false. We reached out for comment and a spokesperson for Emmis Communications, Kate Snedeker denied the story, stating plainly, "it is false."

Festival in Germany has unveiled the first batch of artists who will be headed to Ferropolis (the city of Iron) just an hour outside of Berlin. The first wave of artists will be headlined by a varied group that includes, Alt-J, Kylie Minogue, London Grammar, whose 2013 set remains one of the festivals most viewed sets on their YouTube channel and Flume. Further additions include Jon Hopkins, Bonobo (DJ Set), Clark, Dark Sky, Sophie, Modeselektor and others.

Euphoria Music and Camping Festival just outside of Austin, Texas is one of those options and it has released the lineup for the 2015 edition. The Blur frontman is working on the instrumentals to a new musical adaptation of Alice in Wonderland titled wonder.land, which treats the magical world of Lewis Carrol's original novel to the digital treatment. The plot centers around a child named Aly who escapes to the internet to avoid her unhappy reality and encounters the famed characters of the original novel, including the Red Queen and Cheshire Cat.
