• Charli XCX, Bleachers' Jack Antonoff Cover Each Other's Hits In New Kia Commercial [WATCH]

    Charli XCX and Bleacher's frontman Jack Antonoff have replaced those cute animated hamsters for Kia's latest commercial. The cool part: they cover each other's songs, and both new versions sound pretty awesome. The project is part of the car company's "In-Ride Sessions." Antonoff channels a distorted '80s sound for his cover of "Break the Rules" and Charli XCX goes all out punk princess on "Rollercoaster."

    Glover's "Atlanta" pilot has finally been ordered by FX, more than a year after the company bought the rights. While Glover has been killing time in his primary career as rapper Childish Gambino, fans of his acting work on "Community" will be pumped that he's returning to the silver screen.

    Chance the Rapper has accidently released a new song with his group The Social Experiment called "Ish Illa (Cold Stares)" for his upcoming album Surf, due out by the end of 2014. According to Reddit, Chano is asking for anyone who has ripped the three-minute track to take it down. Unfortunately once something is on the Internet, it's hard to make it disappear, and apparently this song was only meant to be shared with his group.

    The NAACP has announced the nominees for the 2015 Image Awards, which honor outstanding people of color in film, television, music, and literature. Among the music category nominees are Beyoncé, who nabbed four nominations including Outstanding Female Artist for Beyoncé Platinum Edition and Outstanding Song For "Pretty Hurts;" Pharrell, who's up for four awards including Outstanding Male Artists and Outstanding Album for G I R L; and Kendrick Lamar, who is up for three awards including Outstanding Male Artist.

    John Legend is a rare breed in these times: a chart-topping artist (his single, "All of Me," hit No. 1 this spring) who doesn't hesitate to stand up for his political values. This month, he wrote an op-ed in Billboard that focused on Ferguson, Eric Garner and flaws in the American justice system, saying that "the problems of structural racism are old and ongoing."

    Fifty years ago on this date, The Righteous Brothers made one of its most important contributions to music culture (outside of the amazing band name "The Righteous Brothers"): The duo released its hit track "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'." As with any classic pop track released during the '60s, a number of huge names took their turns at covering the original hit. We'll leave it up to you whether any of those covers live up to the original...all we know is that none of the performers involved in the covers had better names then the men who originated the track.
