Fleetwood Mac Announces Seven-Date UK Tour for 2015; Still Deny Glastonbury Spot but Schedule Leaves It Open
We can safely report that Fleetwood Mac is still a band based on the tour of the UK that was announced on Monday. The tour won't kick off until May of 2015 but tickets will go on sale on November 14. The run will consist of seven dates across England, Scotland and Ireland. None of them seem to be a Glastonbury appearance however. -

Kendrick Lamar appears to be gearing up for something big as he continues his whirlwind media tour across the United States. He has been making appearances on the gauntlet of major hip-hop radio stations in New York, Los Angeles and elsewhere to build support for his latest single "i" and to talk about his forthcoming album. Over the weekend, he spoke to Devi Dev on Houston's 93.7 The Beat about his music, dealing with depression, his next album and looking to inspire others with his songs, notably "i."As reported by Complex, K Dot spoke to Devi Dev about his battle with depression that goes back to his time as an adolescent to recently, saying, "Oh, yeah, I faced it then and even now in these recent years, being in the limelight, trying to balance your personal life with the music and what you do. You know it comes a lot of turmoil when you talking about money, when you talking about fame, fortune and success, a lot of things you got to handle and balance, and that brings a whole lot of depression." -

More bad news in the world of metal as reports have come through from Loudwire that Black Tusk bassist Jonathan Athon passed away from injuries sustained during a motorcycle accident. He had been placed in a medically-induced coma but doctors indicated that he had suffered irreparable brain damage during the accident and he was removed from life support, per his wishes. He was 32 years old. -

The MTV European Music Awards went down in Glasgow last night and, as usual, a majority of the prizes were given to acts that were not at all from Europe. Although it has to be said that the biggest winner of the night was one of the few from the hometown continent, as One Direction took home three trophies. Word to the wise; if you ever steal someone's car, don't leave it around the corner with your ID in it. That is what happened to British DJ / producer Mat Zo over the weekend. A small group of teenagers decided to steal his car, post the evidence to social media and then leave actual evidence in the car. They don't seem like they are going to be cast for the next Italian Job.
