    Deadmau5 has released nearly 35 minutes of new music for the online computer video game DOTA 2. The tracks are outfitted just for the game and can be considered a soundtrack of sorts. Fans of both deadmau5 and DOTA 2 (though those interests certainly overlap for many) will enjoy this treatment for the game that adds slower and more progressive arrangements to the game.

    The new Hollywood feature film Southpaw featuring Jake Gyllenhaal, Rachel McAdams, Forest Whitaker and others has unveiled the official movie soundtrack that was executive produced by Eminem. The soundtrack features new songs from the Rap God, including a collaboration with Gwen Stefani titled "Kings Never Die," the theme song for the film "Phenomenal" and "All I Think About" from his Bad Meets Evil duo with Royce da 5'9". There are other tunes from Em's Shady Records family including 50 Cent and Slaughterhouse. Other contributions come in from artists new and old like The Weeknd and Biggie.

    The hottest story in hip-hop for the last week has been Meek Mill's allegations that Drake uses a ghostwriter, and the Toronto rapper turned up the heat by releasing "Charged Up," a perceived diss track aimed at his accuser. Responses to Drake's release have been fairly positive, at least from fans (Mill himself hasn't responded to the track yet) but Drizzy has a while to go in terms of both attitude and wordplay if he wants to land on the list of the greatest diss tracks ever.     NBA 2k16 has unveiled the complete tracklist for its upcoming video, which will be released on Sept. 25 in the United States. 2K called upon three of the biggest DJs in hip-hop at the moment, DJ Mustard, DJ Premier and DJ Khaled to executive produce the soundtrack, each adding 10 selections to the song rotation. Within those 10 are two exclusive tracks from each DJ to the soundtrack.

    Korn vocalist Jonathan Davis has a weird fascination with murder, and we're not just referring to the band's recent remix of Rihanna's "Bitch Better Have My Money." It seems the frontman was at one point trying to open a museum dedicated to serial killers, or at least his collection of serial-killer related paraphernalia, but it fell through, resulting in a lawsuit. Now, the lawyers who helped him settle out of that lawsuit are bringing charges of their own, claiming that Davis never paid them for their services.

    American DJ, producer Kaskade has released his new song "Disarm You" featuring the vocals of LA singer Ilsey. "Disarm You" is the second single from the "Atmosphere" DJ's forthcoming LP on Warner Bros Music/Arkade, which is slated for release at some point this fall. The single follows up his previous record "Never Sleep Alone," which has been very successful for Kaskade so far this year.

    Future found the secret to moving more albums with his 'Dirty Sprite 2': Don't give people time to think about it. The album topped the Billboard 200 with more than 147,000 equivalent copies sold, just two weeks after the album was announced. It's been a little more than a year since he released Honest, and he more than doubled the sales of that effort. The quick-release method has helped other rappers Drake, Kendrick Lamar and Meek Mill get to the top of the charts as well during 2015.
