• Ferguson Protesters Pepper-Sprayed After Infiltrating STL Police Headquarters

We may have closed the book on 2014, but that does not mean the tension between Ferguson, Missouri, protesters and St. Louis, Missouri, police officers is over — not by any means. Instead, a group of 75 protesters proved last night, Dec. 31, 2014, that the racially charged divide is going to be an issue that follows us into this new year, 2015. The protesters served a literal eviction notice to St. Louis police officers late last night and many found themselves either pepper-sprayed or arrested. As part of their "March to the Arch" protest, several members of the group purposely went into the lobby of STL police headquarters and then proceeded to read off a list of demands and they posted hundreds of eviction notices on the outside of the building for alleged police brutality. Nineteen protesters were eventually arrested, primarily because they were laying in the middle of the road blocking the flow of traffic. The group had originally intended to occupy the area of the headquarters for four hours to commemorate how long Michael Brown lied dead in the street after being shot by Darren Wilson.
  • Sarah Jessica Parker Reteaming with HBO for New 'Divorce' Comedy

Is it time for Sarah Jessica Parker to return to the small screen on a regular basis? Well, 10 years after the popular "Sex and the City" ended its six-year run on HBO, Parker is ready to do television again. She is also close to inking a new deal that would bring her back to HBO, the pay channel that was home to "SATC."The show that has sparked Parker's interest in returning to television is a comedy called Divorce. According to "The Hollywood Reporter":"'Divorce' centers on a middle-aged woman (Parker), who, influenced by her two recently single friends, impulsively brings up the idea of divorce with her husband but then can't decide whether to actually go through with it — until her husband discovers the affair she's been having and calls the marriage off."Parker would not only star in the potential half-hour show, but she would also serve as an executive producer alongside Sharon Horgan, Paul Simms, Alison Benson and Aaron Kaplan. The project itself must be well-done for Parker to even consider doing it because, inevitably, her potential work here would be compared to that of "SATC."
  • Scott Disick Bought Bachelor Pad Worth $4 Million as Rumors of Split from Kourtney Kardashian Intensify

Is "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" Scott Disick about to launch a new career as a house-flipper? That is what he is claiming after purchasing a Beverly Hills mansion worth an estimated $3.69 million. Since every other business venture Disick has tried to launch — probably for the benefit of reality TV cameras — has been short lived, it is more than a little hard to imagine that Kourtney Kardashian's baby daddy is serious about this. What seems a little more realistic is the possibility of this house being Disick's new crash pad when his relationship with Kardashian is a mess, which is usually. We already know that he partied heavily all the way through Kardashian's third pregnancy and she was posting a lot of things online that seemed to hint that a split was imminent before giving birth to baby boy Reign Aston last month. A few days after having their third child, Disick turned up wasted at a Hollywood lingerie party, proving that a new baby was not going to alter his ways.So the question, then, is whether or not Kardashian has decided to take care of the kids herself and has kicked her man to the curb yet again.
  • Jennifer Aniston Ignores the Rumors: 'We Know Our Truth'

It seems like Jennifer Aniston has gone through a major transformation, one not limited to the big screen. Sure, her performance in the indie flick "Cake" has won critical acclaim and the best actress nominations keep rolling in, but have you noticed how different Aniston sounds in her interviews? She has spent the last few months heavily promoting a few projects and her whole demeanor seems different. Gone is that sad creature whom Brad Pitt left and what has replaced her is a strong, centered woman, one who does not care about what the tabloids have to say about her.Aniston sat for an interview with "CBS Sunday Morning" that will air this weekend, and in it she addresses her attitude shift when it comes to dealing with the overzealous press."I think I used to ... really, there was a period where I was hell-bent on saying, 'That's not true, that's not right, that's not fair.' And now I just think you have to let it roll off your back, and you realize, I think everyone knows it's all B.S. and like soap opera on paper. The main thing is to try to just keep refocusing back on what you know is true and what makes you guys happy and, you know, we know what our truth is. That's all just static," explained the actress. Before her recent media blitz, Aniston was plagued by rumors that she and fiance Justin Theroux have pulled the plug on their extended romance. Now after listening to this newly evolved woman, it seems more likely that she and Theroux have figured out how to make things actually work while under the celebrity spotlight and it might include keeping things extremely private.
  • All Ten Seasons of 'Friends' Now Available on Netflix

New Year's Day is here, and what better way to spend it than binge-watching a favorite new show or, better yet, an old one? Fans of "Friends" are no doubt hunkering down for a marathon today because the popular sitcom staple of the 1990s has begun streaming on Netflix. Not only has the SVOD company acquired all 10 seasons, but it also has several lost episodes that have never been seen anywhere before.Apparently, near the end of the series's original run, scenes were filmed that featured Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) and Joey (Matt LeBlanc) actually giving romance a try. While producers eventually decided to keep them as platonic roommates, those alternate scenes exist and Netflix viewers will get to see them. It is not like the show has been completely under wraps since ending in 2004. It garnered an average 20 million viewers for each of the 10 years that it ran on NBC, meaning it has been golden in the land of syndication. TBS currently runs episodes nearly every day and so do several local affiliates across the country.

  • Khloé Kardashian Ran In to French Montana in Vegas After Describing Their Romance as 'Destructive'

Khloé Kardashian got the biggest surprise while hosting a bash at 1 Oak Nightclub in Las Vegas last night, Dec. 30. After catching headlines last week for admitting that she jumped into a romance with French Montana at a time when she was "lonely and destructive," Kardashian ran into her ex last night. It must have been an interesting moment when she first realized that Montana was just a few feet away!According to Hollywood Life, the former couple was seated tables apart for dinner and they acknowledged each other, but there was no reconnecting. In the past, even when they had called things off we have seen Kardashian and Montana gravitate toward one another. The fact that it did not happen at 1 Oak seems to indicate that they may really be finished for good.In recent weeks, she seems to have had a bit of a wake-up call, and instead of running from her feelings and mess, Kardashian is ready to face her demons, beginning with her pending divorce from Lamar Odom. She has just a few short weeks to either proceed with requesting a no-fault divorce or else her whole divorce petition could be dismissed. Montana was probably a good and fun distraction for a while, but now even Kardashian realizes it is crunch time.
  • Petition Started Because Target Chose White Model to Promote New 'Annie' Film

Quvenzhané Wallis has become the most sought-after child actress thanks to her leading role as the first black "Annie" in a remake of the legendary musical and hit film. Wallis's performance has earned her a Golden Globe nomination, not to mention a nice, fat paycheck. Target has attached itself to this successful film and has launched a limited Annie clothing collection for young girls. Some see it as a problem that the lead girl in the marketing campaign is a young, white model.A petition has been started on change.org, requesting that the retailer change its ads and then issue Wallis an apology. The actress attended Target's launch party wearing items from the new "Annie" collection to promote it, but then was replaced at the last minute and her fans have taken offense. The petition reads, in part:"Your recent Annie ads and in-store displays depicts [sic] a misleading depiction of the movie as it shows a Caucasian young lady [as] opposed to the star of the film- Quvenzhané Wallis. Though the model is quite professional, she does not speak to the relevance of the movie or main character. When the original Annie came out, everything was about Aileen Quinn or a character/person that emulated her...why not now Target? If you can show it online, show it in ALL of your stores with multiple signage with different girls not one!"Although Annie is a fictitious character, there has been a major uproar from protesters stating that they would not support the movie due to the star being African American. Is [this] the reason why Target maliciously hid Quvenzhané Wallis or refused to use an African American girl to depict Annie in their ads?"
  • Did an Affair with John Mayer Ruin Giada De Laurentiis’s Marriage?

It seems that many of Giada De Laurentiis's fans were shocked to learn that she is ready to divorce her husband of 11 years, Todd Thompson. The television chef issued a statement that painted a pretty civil picture of two grown adults simply deciding they need to move on in as kind a way as possible. Unfortunately, behind the scenes De Laurentiis has reportedly been cheating for years."After an amicable separation since July, Todd and I have decided to end our marriage. Although our decision to separate comes with a great deal of sadness, our focus on the future and overwhelming desire for our family's happiness has given us the strength to move forward on separate, yet always connected paths. Todd and I share a beautiful daughter and a lifetime of great memories that we both treasure more than anything. We are so thankful for our friends and family, and really appreciate the support in this time of change," said the official statement by the chef.According to a report by Radar Online, she was actually caught cheating with John Mayer in fall 2010. The two had reportedly met years earlier, but saw each other again in the Boom Boom Room at The Standard in New York City. The source claims that as soon as they saw each other, they left the room moments apart and were caught intertwined together. Supposedly they left to go to a different hotel together.
  • Gwyneth Paltrow Admits Staying Married May Have Been Easier Than 'Consciously Uncoupling'

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin grabbed headlines earlier this year, not only for announcing that they were ending their marriage, but also for making the phrase "conscious uncoupling" a thing. Sometimes it is said with seriousness, other times it has a sarcastic tone, but one thing is for sure: Everyone out there has heard it. In the months that have followed their formal split, Paltrow and Martin have actually seemed closer and tighter than ever. There has been speculation about a reconciliation and there were rumors that she single-handedly imploded Martin's brief fling with Jennifer Lawrence. Paltrow is tackling all the topics in her new interview in the February issue of "Harper's Bazaar UK."Ironically, the actress is the first to admit that she often contemplates whether or not they should still be married."It's painful, it's difficult, it might be easier to say, 'I never want to see you again,' but what good does that do anyone? We've made a lot of mistakes, and we've had good days and bad days, but I have to say, I'm proud of us for working through so much stuff together — and not blaming and shaming. Of course, there are times when I think it would have been better if we had stayed married, which is always what your children want. But we have been able to solidify this friendship, so that we're really close," said Paltrow.
  • Bravo Holding Focus Groups to Help Decide Whether or Not to Begin Filming 'RHONJ'

Bravo's "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" is currently in a real state of flux. With series veteran Teresa Giudice scheduled to report to prison in less than a week, executives are left scrambling to figure out what they should do with the show. Everything is being considered: bringing back former fan favorites, looking for new talent and even putting the show on hiatus for a year and figuring out what to do with it later. These are all up for consideration, and apparently Bravo has now decided that a little fan involvement in making the final decision could not hurt.According to a report by Radar Online, focus groups are the way to go."Production is currently holding focus groups about moving forward without Teresa. They are trying to determine what the public perception was of the new cast and if any casting changes need to be made in regards to the new additions last season. If Bravo finds out that the public perception of the current cast is positive, they will likely begin filming in February; however, they are also exploring the option of putting on the show on a hiatus until the fall. This would allow them to play around with the cast if need be and film around the normal time frame the show films in, which is typically the fall," says a source for the show.
