Jennifer Aniston Dishes on Her 'Challenging Companionship' in New 'In Style'
Is there anywhere that Jennifer Aniston has not been in the last several months? It seems like she has done every talk show and covered just about every magazine while promoting "Horrible Bosses 2" and "Cake," doesn't it? "In Style" magazine must have realized that it was kind of dropping the ball and decided to snatch up the hottest actress around for its February 2015 cover.Since Aniston has been opening up more than ever in ways that even her fans probably never expected her to do, she has been tackling some of the tougher topics head-on. Rather than run from things, a more centered Aniston has come off as being open and, in this latest interview, she dishes on changing her dating style over the years."I'm a late bloomer. I mean, it's no secret: I've had some challenging companionship. I think hitting a wall with that really kind of [helped me grow]. I found a great therapist. Not to sound too 'woo woo,' but I think the self-love piece was really important. And spending a lot of time alone. Having time to ask myself why there was such toxicity in my immediate space at times. Why would I attract that instead of light?" explains Aniston. -
Two More Women Join Defamation Lawsuit Already Filed Against Bill Cosby
Bill Cosby may actually be playing a few gigs in Canada this week, but back in the States his sexual assault scandal just got a little messier. For weeks now various women have come forward to accuse Cosby of drugging and then either assaulting or raping them once they were incapacitated, and finally the comedian decided to start fighting back. He hired investigators to dig up dirt on anyone making accusations, and he has also taken direct aim at any woman brave enough to publicly accuse him of wrongdoing. A defamation suit was filed against Cosby weeks ago by one of his alleged victims, Tamara Green, and now two more names have been added to that suit.According to a report by Page Six:"The amended complaint was filed Monday[, Jan. 5,] in U.S. District Court in Springfield, in western Massachusetts, where Cosby has a home in Shelburne Falls."Cosby is the only defendant in the lawsuit, originally filed last month by Tamara Green, who said he drugged and assaulted her in the 1970s. The two new plaintiffs are Therese Serignese, who said he drugged and raped her in 1976, and Linda Traitz, who alleges he tried to drug her and then sexually groped her in 1970."Attorney Joseph Cammarata, who represents the three women, said the civil action allows them to have their allegations heard since criminal statutes of limitation have expired." -
NBA Star with $44 Million Contract Reportedly Doesn't Want to Play Basketball Anymore
The world of professional sports often revolves around the following phrase: "It's a business." The constant travel, practice grind and lack of longterm security can suck the fun out of anyone's career, so it is no wonder there are excellent pro athletes who no longer play "for the love of the game."The current pro sports climate is such that when Milwaukee Bucks star Larry Sanders — who is slated to make $44 million over the next four years — reportedly told his team that he is tired of playing basketball, those who criticized him were not appalled at his lack of drive but rather the bad business decision he would be making by backing out of his contract.A player who quits in the middle of a contract is rare, but not because he or she loves the game. It is because they are leaving loads of money on the table and forging ahead with a bankroll that statistically has a good chance of drying up within the decade.Gery Woefel of the "Racine Journal Times" broke the Sanders story Monday, Jan. 5:Sources tell me that Bucks center Larry Sanders recently told some Bucks officials that he doesn't want to play basketball anymore. — Gery Woelfel (@GeryWoelfel) January 5, 2015 -
Manhunt Underway for Two Suspects Who Shot and Wounded Two NYPD Officers in the Bronx
The New York Police Department cannot seem to go more than a day without grabbing another negative headline one way or another. Sadly, on Monday night, Jan. 5, two plainclothes officers were shot while responding to a robbery call shortly after their shift had ended. The two, along with three other officers, thought they spotted the suspects who were connected to a Bronx grocery store robbery. When they got out of their vehicle, a shoot-out began with both officers ending up with injuries that are not life-threatening. There is currently a manhunt underway for both suspects, who stole and later ditched a white Camaro. While everyone is relieved that these officers have a good prognosis, this is just another dangerous incident to end up on top of the pile. After two Brooklyn officers were assassinated while having lunch in their patrol car a few weeks ago, it changed everything for the NYPD. It had previously felt as though Mayor Bill de Blasio had abandoned them by allowing protests to take place all over the city following the news that there would be no indictment in the chokehold death of Eric Garner. The NYPD feels that rather than working together for the safety of the city, he and City Hall instead made things more difficult.Once those two officers were killed, the NYPD started protesting de Blasio by turning their backs to him, and it has been downhill from there. Now with two more officers down, the NYPD still does not feel support from City Hall and believes that de Blasio helped add additional strain to the divide between protesters and police. Another double shooting was the last situation that either side needed to have to face now. -
Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick Are Quitting Reality Television
A new baby might not be the only thing Kourtney Kardashian is going to be celebrating. The reality star and her baby daddy Scott Disick are just about at the end of their three-year contract with E!, and rather than signing another deal the couple seems about ready to put reality television in their past.According to a new report by Radar Online, Kardashian is wise enough to realize that doing the show with her boyfriend since 2007 has actually caused a lot more fights than they would have had if every moment of their lives was not documented for the world to see. Sources say the couple has been over the whole reality TV thing, and the buzz that comes with it for quite awhile now, but they still had to ride out the end of their contracts.Perhaps if they walk away from the cameras and daily spotlight it will actually help Disick keep himself together. His battle with alcohol and pills was one of the main storylines on "Kourtney & Khloé Take the Hamptons," the most recent reality show of theirs to wrap up on E! Disick was and still is grieving the loss of his parents while contending with the stress of a new baby, and if we have learned anything about this guy, it is that he cannot cope well. -
Sting's 'The Last Ship' Coming to an End on Broadway: Producers Pull the Plug on Shipyard Musical
Sting's first try at Broadway, "The Last Ship," will come to an end Jan. 24 after a four-month run. The former Police frontman composed the music for the play, eventually joining the cast to help boost ticket sales. But even the singer's involvement onstage was not enough to save the production. Poor sales during the holiday rush contributed to the show's demise, "The New York Times" reports."We have been bewildered and saddened by our inability to sustain an audience for this musical that we deeply love," the producers wrote in a statement. "There are no easy explanations."According to the "Times," the show cost $15 million to bring to Broadway and $625,000 to keep it going each week. Ticket sales were steady when the show opened in October, but they doubled last month when Sting joined the cast as the shipyard foreman. Most musicals were breaking records last week, a peak time for Broadway with tourists flooding the streets of New York for the holidays. "The Last Ship," on the other hand, underperformed. -
Sony Unveils New ZX2 Walkman: Portable Music Player Will Sell for $1,120 This Spring
Sony recently introduced the latest incarnation of its portable music player, the Walkman, and it is a far cry from the 1979 original. The ZX2 Walkman plays tunes at a higher resolution than CDs, MP3s and streaming files. The only downside to casual music lovers is that the device costs $1,120, CNN Tech reports."The new Walkman ZX2 is a great example of the quality of our high-res audio offerings," Sony Electronics executive Mike Fasulo said. "This Walkman is tailored for outstanding sound, and every piece of material and component has been crafted to realize the ultimate high-res audio experience on the move."Features for the device include 128 GB of storage — about 2,000 songs — a micro SD card port, Wi-Fi capabilities and a 60-hour battery life. Oddly enough, it runs the Android platform Jelly Bean, which is a little outdated. The ZX2 will be available in the spring. It comes at an opportune time for the company — Apple discontinued its flagship product, the iPod Classic, last year. Nearly two decades ago, Apple introduced the iPod to the world and it dethroned the Walkman as the most popular portable music device. -

Johnny Depp's Romance with Amber Heard is Back on Track Since Sobering Up
We recently told you guys about how hard Johnny Depp was struggling to get his demons back under control after an embarrassing, drunk public display at the Hollywood Press Awards last November. Rather than heading off to a traditional rehab, Depp instead decided to pull himself together at home and the first step in doing so has been avoiding parties. He even went as far as to opt out of some of the media events for his new film, Into the Woods and thankfully it seems to be paying off.
