The Usually Festive Richard Simmons Is Still MIA as Friends Continue to Worry About His State of Mind
Where in the world is Richard Simmons? That seems to be the question on the minds of all those who were once close to the legendary fitness guru. We recently told you that there have been rumors about Simmons's health and state of mind because the once-extremely outgoing and energetic guy we all recognized has gone completely radio silent. He has stopped attending charity events, has not been to his studio in Beverly Hills in months and now even his gated home looks to have been abandoned.According to a report by TMZ, Simmons's home is usually all decked out for the holidays, but not this year. Instead, it barely seems like anyone is living there. Several weeks ago there were reports that a combination of things have knocked Simmons down for the count. Supposedly, a beloved pet died and he has a knee injury that has scared him. Simmons is said to be completely terrified of having any kind of surgery, and he is actually putting off having a knee replacement. Without it, his physical abilities are limited, which means the fitness expert is a shadow of the man we all expect him to be, and that could easily have triggered major depression. -
'The Interview' Has Been Shelved but Embarrassing Sony Leaks Keep Coming as Amy Pascal Slams Adam Sandler in Email
Sony may have decided to appease the Guardians of Peace and not let "The Interview" premiere on Christmas Day or any other day in the near future, but that does not mean the hackers are finished wreaking havoc on the studio. Instead, newly leaked emails keep coming which indicate that the GOP's actual agenda involves quite a bit more than just making sure that one film does not see the light of day. Once again, Amy Pascal and her opinions are under fire. This time around, the subject of her disdain is Adam Sandler, who wanted a huge chunk of cash for a movie version of the board game Candyland. According to the leaked emails, Sandler asked the studio for $200 million for that flick and he also rallied to have his co-producer on "Hotel Transylvania 2," Allen Covert, get an extra $100,000."Adam is an a--hole and this is more his fault than anyone's but what we did was not communicate with each other and make assumptions," said Pascal, indicating that Sandler is not one of Sony's favorite people to deal with. -
Mel B Was Reportedly Hospitalized for an Overdose as Personal Life Unravels
Mel B — real name Melanie Brown — has been living a real nightmare these past few weeks, and up until now it has been unclear which of the swirling rumors have actually been true. Speculation as to the status of Mel B's health began last week when she missed a live taping of the British version of "The X Factor," and while she returned to film the next night, she had visible bruises all over her upper body, leading many to wonder what had happened. At the same time, news leaked that Mel B had separated from her husband Stephen Belafonte and there was speculation that the relationship had turned violent. Now some sources close to the former Spice Girl are speaking out, claiming that she actually suffered an accidental overdose.According to Radar Online, Mel B "was hospitalized because she mixed tranquilizers, including Xanax, with alcohol. It was absolutely accidental, and not intentional. She wasn't suicidal, but the pressure of being back in London brought a lot of unresolved issues to the surface concerning being estranged from [her] mother, Andrea, and the rest of her family. While Mel has been given medical clearance to return, she feels extremely vulnerable ... a lot has gone down in just a short period of time. She has been paralyzed with fear for the past week living in the hotel, and the British press has been relentless in covering the story."Apparently, Mel's mother has claimed that Belafonte is abusive and her statements only fueled the rumors in the press. While he has denied all allegations, some of Belafonte's remarks in the press have made light of the situation. It is obvious that his wife is struggling a great deal and he has not exactly appeared to care much. -

Robert McCulloch Admits That He Knew Some of the Witnesses That He Presented to Ferguson Grand Jury Were Lying
Robert McCulloch is the prosecuting attorney that was presiding over the Ferguson grand jury, which means that he has been under intense scrutiny from day one. McCulloch has also been blamed for Darren Wilson not being indicted in the Aug. 9 shooting death of Michael Brown. The general consensus seems to be that if the prosecution really wants an indictment, they'll get it, so the underlying feeling has been that McCulloch didn't push too hard for what many believe would have been justice for Brown. Unfortunately, the attorney hasn't helped his image at all by giving a recent interview to KTRS 550 and making some stunning admissions. -

Bill Cosby's uphill battle to save his career isn't even close to over yet. Instead, it seems like with each passing day we learn of a new accuser or someone offers up scathing details of an encounter with the actor that seem to prop up all of the other allegations that came before. When Beverly Johnson decided to speak out recently it seemed like a bit of a game-changer because no one seemed to really question her account and there was a shift in the way that the media covered this story.
