Rumor Has It That Mary Murphy May Be Leaving 'So You Think You Can Dance' and Paula Abdul Might Be In!
Longtime fans of "So You Think You Can Dance" were recently thrilled to learn that the show has been picked up for a 12th season on Fox, but now comes the downside. Mary Murphy, who has been a regular face at the judges panel since Season 2, is reportedly getting ready to leave the show. Murphy and her "Hot Tamale Train" antics have played off fellow judge/co-producer Nigel Lythgoe perfectly, but sources say the show is looking for someone new to fill her seat and a familiar name is being circulated.According to a report by Deadline, Paula Abdul is being eyed by Dick Clark Productions to take the prized seat. Abdul is no stranger to the show, as she has sat in the guest judge's seat on several occasions. She also successfully worked with Lythgoe on "American Idol" for several seasons, so it is a working relationship that is already developed, which might ultimately benefit the show if Murphy really is ready to move on. -

Angelina Jolie Has Been Shut Out of Golden Globe Nominations While Jennifer Aniston Grabs Another Nod for 'Cake'
The Golden Globe nominations were announced this morning, and there seems to be one name surprisingly missing from the list: Angelina Jolie. Earlier this year, the actress was praised for her work in "Maleficent" and many insiders believed it would easily fetch her a nod or two at awards time. Then "Unbroken" came out, and Jolie's directorial skills were praised. In spite of both efforts, Jolie's name is absent from the list of Golden Globe nominations.Adding more than a little bit of sting to Jolie's being slighted is the fact that Jennifer Aniston has not only secured a leading actress nomination today but also grabbed a SAG nod yesterday morning, Dec. 10, as well. Aniston's work as a chronic pain sufferer in "Cake" has been praised since it was first previewed in September. We heard early on that her performance was generating Oscar buzz, but it was not until she actually started turning up on the list of nominees for other awards did anyone really take that too seriously. -
Kanye West Flees to Paris After a Few Rocky Days in NYC with Kim Kardashian
It does not take much to see that the marriage of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian is already under ridiculous strain. The couple spent nearly a month apart and were even an ocean apart for the Thanksgiving holiday. West's being photographed in Paris rather than celebrating with his family led to all sorts of speculation that things are not good between them. Now we are learning that the rapper did reunite briefly with his wife before fleeing the country again.According to a report by Radar Online, Kardashian and West spent a few rocky days in New York City this past week before he left for Paris. Sources close to the couple say they have hit an incredibly rough patch, and many things are dividing them. Kardashian reportedly feels like their marriage is just a business arrangement and that West puts his new family way down on the list of priorities.Their living situation has also turned into a major bone of contention, as Kardashian has been living at her mother Kris Jenner's house for nearly two years now. Not only does the couple not have a home of their own, but West reportedly has every intention of making Paris his permanent residence next year, and little North West will be going with him. Kardashian is adamant about remaining in Los Angeles and keeping their baby with her. -
'Frozen's' 'Let It Go' Synced to Christmas Lights: Disney Hit Performance Would Make Clark Griswold Proud [WATCH]
For years, Chevy Chase's Clark Griswold was the champion of holiday exterior illumination when he wrapped his home in thousands of Christmas lights for "Christmas Vacation." Since the 1980s, though, we have had a few technological advances in the area of Christmas lights. A few years ago, Miller Brewing Co. synced some lights to Trans-Siberian Orchestra's "Wizards of Winter" and people have been beefing up their displays ever since. The most recent home display features a marvelous performance of "Let It Go" from Disney's "Frozen."The video comes from listentoourlights.com, and it is one of the better light performances around. The centerpiece is the front yard that contains two large trees and some smaller decorations. Huge snowflakes on the house illustrate a "storm" backdrop as they "fall" to the ground. The cactus in the window kind of threw me off, though.Either way, it is a terrific display for fans of the movie or those fond of Christmas lights. Check it out below.Frozen's soundtrack was recently named the best-selling album on the "Billboard" 200 chart for 2014. It beat out releases by Sam Smith, Taylor Swift and Jason Aldean. The effort spent 13 weeks at the No. 1 spot, making it Disney's longest, best-selling soundtrack ahead of "The Lion King."This year has not been great for record sales, but Frozen was the first album to hit the platinum mark for 2014. Swift's "1989," Ariana Grande's "My Everything" and Aldean's "Old Boots, New Dirt" also surpassed 1 million sales. Smith's "In the Lonely Hour" is expected to join the club before year's end. -
Columbus Short Admits to Cocaine Use, Causing His Life to Spiral Out of Control Before Being Fired from 'Scandal'
Columbus Short has had a life-altering year, as he began it starring on "Scandal," one of prime time's top dramas, and is wrapping it up by coming clean about his drug use. Short made headlines for a bar fight as well as alleged domestic violence against his then-wife Tuere Short and quickly found himself fired and divorced. In April, Short confirmed that he would not be returning to "Scandal" for a fourth season and graciously wished his former cast mates the best.On Wednesday, Dec. 10, the actor appeared on "Access Hollywood" to discuss what unraveled him."I was struggling with drugs. I had a lot on my plate, and you know, I was using unhealthy ways to kind of self-medicate and deal with a lot of heavy-duty stuff in my life. I was doing cocaine and drinking a lot, and trying to balance a 16-hour work schedule a day, and a family, and I just lost myself back then."Short also says the suicide of his best friend, Lee Thompson Young, sent him into a downward spiral because he simple did not know how to handle it. He also admits that his friends from the hit ABC show tried their best to cover for and support him ... until his behavior went too far. -
'Love & Hip Hop Hollywood' Princess Love Threatened Suicide After Ray J Dumped Her and Was Spotted with Karrueche Tran
We almost need a flow chart to keep things straight with the cast of VH1's "Love & Hip Hop Hollywood." In the season finale, which aired last week, it looked like Ray J had dumped his girlfriend of two years, Princess Love, in order to reconnect with Teairra Mari. When the reunion shows aired this week, it was clear Ray and Love were back together, but a bit of drama has gone down this week that led him to call 911, thinking she was going to kill herself.According to a report by TMZ, Ray broke up with Love Tuesday night, Dec. 9, and by Wednesday, Dec. 10, photos of him getting cozy with Karrueche Tran had surfaced. Needless to say, that did not sit well with her and Love reportedly threatened to kill herself. She was not at home when the police arrived and supposedly called Ray to reassure him she was not really going to shoot herself. -
André 3000's OutKast Reunion Jumpsuits Being Made Into T-Shirt Line; Still No Word on New Music [WATCH]
André 3000's jumpsuits from the recent OutKast reunion tour already spawned an art show, and now the rapper announced that the messages will be made into a T-shirt line as well. Those jumpsuits seem to be the only positive 3000 took from his recent jaunt with Big Boi — he has been critical of himself and the tour ever since the end of the trek. Oh, well — on to the next thing."You'll be able to see that really soon because people have been asking me," he says in the video below, "XXL" reported. It is actually a good idea, since the suits featured some pretty thought-provoking slogans like "Have you stopped growing?," "Life is short take more baths" and "Thinking deeply about shallow sh#t.""The response was great," he said about the fans and their response to the messages. "It was to start a conversation and that's what it's done. People started to make up their own messages. I saw so many people with black suits on. I was like, 'Oh, This is cool.'"The rapper explained that the concept grew out of having to perform old songs and not being able to say anything new on them.
