First awarded in 1960, the annual Dutch prize is one of the oldest music prizes in the world and has named artists like U2, David Bowie, The Beach Boys, Quincy Jones and Stevie Wonder as some of its recipients.

    German trance icon Paul van Dyk has been in the hospital for the past week recovering from a very scary fall at A State of Trance 750 in Utrecht, Holland. He was performing on the main stage at the large trance one night festival hosted by Armin van Buuren and fell from an elevated stage. According to a new update from the Paul van Dyk team, it was revealed that he is conscious and in recovery. He suffered a cracked vertebrae and sustained a concussion.

    German electronic music duo Digitalism, comprised of Jens "Jence" Moelle and Ismail "Isi" Tufekci just made a big announcement. After being completely silent last year and releasing very little original work over the past couple, fans now know why their output has been so sparse - they are releasing an album and son. The new album Mirage will be released on May 13 and to celebrate the announcement, the pair have released two new songs, "Battlecry" and "Utopia."
