  • Stream, Download Soulwax's Belgica Movie Soundtrack

    Soulwax are back with the first new album from the Belgian group in nearly a decade. As one might expect, their new project is a big different from the traditional album. They created a soundtrack for the Belgian film Belgica. Instead of just scoring a traditional film soundtrack as Soulwax, the group decided to take on the persona of 16 different fake bands and write songs for each of them. Those songs were then recorded and used in the film.

    Fedde Le Grand has released his new album Something Real - the Dutch DJ's first in six years. The 14-track LP doesn't have any marquee features that some of his compatriots have done to try and sell the album, but instead worked with some other up-and-coming EDM producers such as Merk & Kremont, Holl & Rush and Cobra Effect and dance music singers like Jonathan Mendelsohn, Denny White and Erene.

    It may only be the end of February, but festival season is coming hard and fast for the Northern Hemisphere. Curated by FORM and Florida band Hundred Waters, Arizona festival FORM Arcosanti has announced its 2016 lineup. The billing its topped by the likes of Skrillex, Bonobo (DJ Set), Four Tet, Thundercat, Autre Ne Veut, Ryan Hemsworth and Mija.
  • Tame Impala, RAC, Kacey Musgraves, Joshua Tree Remix Miguel 'Waves'

    Miguel has invested quite a bit into his Wildheart single "Waves." He released a music video to the original back in October and then at the January he unveiled the Travi$ Scott remix of the track, which is slated to be a part of the greater remix EP Rogue Waves. Also included on the remix EP are a pretty wide variety of artists like Tame Impala, Kacey Musgraves, RAC, Scott and Joshua Tree.

Organizers have commissioned Beacon Economics to release a new study on economic impact of EDC Las Vegas on its home city and have come up with the number of $1.3 billion over the past five years from 1.7 million people.

    Minus Zero Festival has announced the 2016 lineup for its Vermont festival this April. Its main two headliners will be collaborators deadmau5 and Kaskade, who have linked up in the past on "I Remember" and "Move For Me." This time they will be headlining on separate days.

Listen to the end because he teases a song that will be premiered tomorrow with Zane Lowe on Beats 1. He will be supported by Gallant on the tour.
  • Universal Music Posts 2015 Revenue Increase Thanks To Streaming

    The machine always seems to try and stifle it, but streaming is now becoming the main gravy train for major labels. Universal Music and its parent company Vivendi have announced their 2015 revenue and UMG posted a 2.7 percent increase at constant currency, a measure that eliminates currency fluctuations or 12.1 percent in actual terms. A large part of this growth came from streaming.

    T.I. has a lot to announce today. He is about to do a bit of business with Jay Z. The Atlanta rapper has signed a distribution deal with Jay Z's Roc Nation for his 10th studio album Dime Trap. He isn't stopping there, also making his work with TIDAL official as an official artist owner of the streaming service.

The latest to offer their services to Kesha is Zedd who on Twitter said he would produce a song for Kesha.
