Now the cause of death has been revealed to be a heart attack by his road manager Ab Traxx.

A staple of the New York City hip-hop community, Big Kap was known for working alongside the likes of Funkmaster Flex, Notorious B.I.G, Mister Cee, Nas and a whole host of other important 1990s rappers and DJs. His team and family has not confirmed the news, but those close to him have shared their condolences on social media.
