    SFX Entertainment has officially filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The move seeks to eliminate $300 million in debt off of the company's balance sheet, provide it with fresh capital and convert the outstanding debt into equity to form a private company - the goal of founder Robert Sillerman throughout all of 2015. One other major change will be a shakeup at the top. Robert Sillerman will be replaced as CEO by a still-to-be-named candidate, but remain as Chairman of the board.

    Neil Degrasse Tyson just demolished B.o.B. As Kevin Hart would say, "He wasn't ready." Granted B.o.B never had a chance since he didn't have much to stand on with a round earth underneath his feet. The scientist went on The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore responding to the hosts "science emergency defense program" distress signal in response to the recent accusations by B.o.B. that the earth is flat. In response, Tyson went on and dropped some truth bombs of his own and walked out with one of the mic drops of the year because gravity.

Cole just released Forest Hills Drive Live, which takes the live recordings of his album tracks from his final Homecoming concert in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The filmed concert has cameos from the likes of Jay Z and Drake.

The album will feature a diverse cast of acts like hip-hop heavyweights Pusha T and Future on "Kung Fu," M.I.A. and G Dragon on "Temple" and fellow trap producer Rustie on "Church Reprise."

Reimagined into a more realistically titled "Cocaine Parties In LA," which probably leads to "No More Parties In L.A.," Freddie keeps the fire beat from the original, but then adds his own verses.

Felt Like Cappin is only six tracks and only has one feature, but he makes it count from Lil Wayne. Production on the project comes from a variety of names like Timbaland, Zaytoven, Mike Will, TM88 and others.
  • Techno Pioneer Juan Atkins Calls The DJ List Racist In Facebook Post

    Member of the Belleville Three and one of the original pioneers of techno Juan Atkins has spoken out about racism within the industry. With everyone getting riled up about how few black people were recognized at the Oscars, he decided to turn his attention to The DJ List, not associated with popular magazine DJ Mag, which hosts its annual Top 100 DJs poll. The list doesn't use any social media polling or fan votes, which can skew the results, but rather their own algorithm. In a Facebook post he blasts the list for their lack diversity on the list, with 1-98 all being white and No. 99 and No. 100 finally getting the individuals of color.

    Belgium electronic rock band Soulwax have been flying under the radar for the past couple of years now, releasing very little music since their string of acclaimed albums in the 1990s and mid 2000ss, ending in 2007 with Most of the Remixes... They released a remix of Tame Impala "Let It Happen" last year, which signaled a potential return to form in 2016, though it may not be in the form that a lot of fans had hoped for. The group announced they were scoring the soundtrack to the new film Belgica, done by Oscar nominated director who previously worked The Broken Circle Breakdown.

    In what had been a great year for feline music, Run The Jewels continue to push the 2015 cat-themed reimagining of their 2014 critically acclaimed LP Run The Jewels 2. Filled with cat sounds, Meow The Jewels became treasure for fans and has spawned some very interesting music videos along the way. The new one for "Meowpurrdy" appears to have done the impossible - make a cat video disturbing.

B.o.B. spouted out a whole host of conspiracy theory tweets about the earth apparently being flat and Neil deGrasse Tyson clapped back with some facts of his own. Then B.o.B. decided that he wanted to take things to the next level with an odd diss track "Flatline" with an anti-Semitic twist. The scientist has recruited his nephew to clap back over Drake's "Back To Back" beat in the freshly titled "Flat To Fact."
