    Dope, a movie starring A$AP Rocky that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival over the weekend, reportedly secured a distribution deal for $7 million. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Open Road Films beat out The Weinstein Company for the film, which also features Zoë Kravitz and Blake Anderson of Workaholics. There's been a decent amount of buzz coming from Park City, Utah, about the movie.

Written and directed by Rick Famuyiwa the film follows a young high school student, Malcolm and his glorious high-top fade as he tries to navigate being good at school and live in The Bottoms, one of the toughest neighborhoods in Inglewood, California. Malcolm dreams of attending Harvard, but the story starts with his life at home as he tries to survive every day. He and his group of friends are deeply into the hip-hop, tying in the many guest appearances from rappers that include the aforementioned artists above and also Casey Veggies.

As its title suggests, the song is a sequel to Rocky's track "Pretty Flacko," which was released almost exactly two years ago on Jan. 1, 2012. Rocky debuted "Pretty Flacko 2" about two months ago at a show in London, and since then it's become one of the year's most anticipated singles.
