NFL Shares Chilling Domestic Violence 'No More' PSA Ahead of Super Bowl [WATCH]
After Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice was suspended indefinitely by the NFL in September for punching his then-fiancee and now-wife Janay Rice in the face and knocking her unconscious, the league went to work on revamping its domestic abuse policy. In addition to heavier consequences for players, the NFL worked up the No More advertising campaign, which has been running commercials about domestic violence ever since. Janay and Ray Rice All Smiles While Celebrating His Birthday, Is the Worst Behind Them?
It has been a little while since we have heard anything about Ray and Janay Rice. The couple spent months grabbing headlines late last year because of an elevator surveillance tape that leaked. NFL May Have to Reinstate Ray Rice in November after Final Appeal Hearing
It looks like Ray Rice could be back in NFL action within just a few short weeks. Rice was suspended indefinitely at the start of the current season by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell after that now-infamous elevator security tape was released showing Rice knocking out Janay Palmer with one punch. The general public was outraged to learn Rice was originally punished with just a two-game suspension and Goodell had to act quickly to try and save face, so he threw the proverbial book at Rice. A final appeal hearing is scheduled for mid-November, and it could easily swing in Rice's favor. -
32 NFL Team Owners Prepared To Fire Commissioner Roger Goodell If He Purposely Lied About Ray Rice's Violent Videotape
What began as an incident of domestic violence between former Baltimore Ravens player Ray Rice and his wife, Janay Palmer has quickly turned into a full blown scandal that is rocking the entire NFL. When the elevator surveillance tape of Rice punching Palmer in the side of the face first turned up online a few days ago NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell insisted that no one in the league had seen it before the general public had access to it. That notion has been called into question because phone records prove that someone at the NFL's main headquarters not only received the tape but also viewed it. Goodell at first refused to consider stepping down but if he has been lying then team owners are prepared to oust him. -
