Chicago's React Presents, which hosts Spring Awakening, Summer Set Music Festival and North Coast Music Festival, is hosting a three day festival, Freaky Deaky, which enters its 7th year. The largely electronic festival will be headlined by the likes of Armin van Buuren, Bassnectar, Pretty Lights, 2 Chainz, Big Gigantic and others. -
Kygo, Juicy J, Big Gigantic Join Electric Adventure 2015 Lineup
Electric Adventure has announced the second wave of artists who will be heading down to the Jersey Shore in just about three weeks. Among the names that have been unveiled are Kygo, Juicy J and Big Gigantic. The newly added artists were blocked out on the initial lineup billing, leading to some speculation about who they might be. Now with the two-day event under a month away, fans can be comfortable with the new additions. Other artists who have been added include ilan Bluestone, Mark Knight and Cosmic Gate. -
Eric Prydz Previews 'Generate' - 'Tether' Producer Announces Single Ahead of Upcoming Album [LISTEN]
Eric Prydz has unveiled the next single that will be released from his massive treasure trove of unreleased IDs. The "Every Day" producer has previewed the long-awaited "Generate" in full on his soundcloud prior to its release through his own label, Pryda Friends, on April 13. "Generate" is the second release from Prydz after his remix for CHVRCHES "Tether" dropped last month and immediately shot up to the top of the Beatport charts. Colorado's Red Rocks Implements New Noise Rules to Counter Rise of EDM
One of the United States's most iconic outdoor music venues, Red Rocks Amphitheater, in Morrison, Colorado is undergoing another set of rule changes to its regulations for noise levels that emanate from the concerts that take place there. Denver officials outlined new rules that will apply to various levels of sounds of sounds, notably bass levels and late night performance times that have been at the heart of Morrison resident's complaints. -

One man is dead and another is in critical condition after drug-related overdoses at the Mad Decent Block Party in Columbia, Md., according to reports. In total, 20 attendees were hospitalized, and most of the cases were caused by drug use. -
