As more allegations of sexual misconduct are leveled against Bill Cosby on almost a daily basis, his supporters seem to be scattering. That makes the people who are still firmly planted in his corner a bit more noteworthy. Debbie Allen has long been affiliated with the actor, and while promoting her new BET special "The Hot Chocolate Nutcracker," she weighed in on the whole scandal, admitting that she finds the allegations "hard to believe" because of the man she has believed Cosby to be.Allen recently discussed her thoughts with "Today's" Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee, explaining:"I don't think we can have this conversation honestly in two minutes. It begs to ask a bigger question. Where's the moral spine in America and in the world today? Because how are we raising our daughters, our sons? Where are we looking for the guidance of how we're supposed to live? Cosby gave us one of the greatest shows in history and redefined the perception of black people all over the world."At the same time, I'm a part of One Billion Rising. This is a movement for women to stand up against violence and denigration of women. This is a tough situation, and it's just hard to believe. I don't know. I think that so much time has passed before they all have kind of have come together ... there's a big question that my mother asks me every day, 'Why now? Why are these people trying to destroy his legacy?'" -

CeeLo Green made headlines a few months back with his controversial rape tweets. He's been pretty quiet ever since, but he recently spoke out on the public's treatment of Bill Cosby. The Gnarls Barkley singer says it's "not fair" that people assume that the famed comedian is guilty. -
Hugh Hefner Distances Himself from 'Good Friend' Bill Cosby Amid Allegations of Sexual Molestation Occurring at the Playboy Mansion
Whether Bill Cosby is guilty or innocent almost does not matter when it comes to his career. His name has already been tarnished enough that even longtime affiliates are taking three big steps back from the actor just in case he really did sexually assault more than two dozen women.Last week, Judy Huth not only accused Cosby of molesting her at the Playboy Mansion in 1974, but she actually filed a police report. The statute of limitations will make it impossible for the actor to face any legal repercussions, but it does light a fire under the Los Angeles Police Department to investigate and, in doing so, it could possibly unearth other, much younger victims. For a long time Cosby called Hugh Hefner one of his best friends and it did not take the Playboy mogul long to respond to Huth's allegations.Apparently, Hefner wants to make sure that everyone understands that if anything criminal occurred at the mansion, it certainly was not OK with him. -
Bill Cosby's Hollywood Walk of Fame Star Vandalized with Graffiti - LAPD Begins Investigation Starting at Hugh Hefner's Playboy Mansion
It seems like not a day goes by when we aren't hearing some new nugget about the ongoing accusations of sexual misconduct against Bill Cosby. Just yesterday, we learned that Judy Huth, the woman who alleges that Cosby molested her when she was only 15 years old back in 1974, actually went and filed a police report. While the statute of limitations in her case may ultimately be up, what this does is open the door for a full investigation, something that the LAPD is ready to do, hopefully starting with some help from Hugh Hefner. -
Bill Cosby Sued for Alleged Sexual Assault on 15-Year-Old Girl
Just when you thought it could not get any worse for fallen comedian Bill Cosby, it has. He is now being sued by a woman named Judy Huth, who is 55. She is alleging that back in 1974 Cosby molested her when she was only 15. While most cases that involve Cosby are impossible to legally prosecute in any way because of the statute of limitations having expired, this one is apparently different.According to TMZ, Huth filed her suit in Los Angeles County Court, saying that she and a friend met Cosby in a park where he was filming a movie. He befriended the girls and invited them to a party at the Playboy Mansion, instructing them to lie about their ages if anyone asked. Huth alleges that Cosby played pool and made her drink a beer every time he won a game. He then guided her toward a bathroom that was off a bedroom, and when she came out Cosby asked her to sit beside him. Huth alleges that after doing so, the actor molested her. -
Jill Scott Defends Bill Cosby on Twitter; Comedian Resigns from Temple University's Board of Trustees
Soul singer Jill Scott came to the defense of fellow Philadelphian Bill Cosby on Twitter recently in regards to multiple women alleging that the comedian raped them. Scott received an honorary doctorate from Temple University in May and Cosby, an alumnus, was on hand to present her with it. The singer got into a heated exchange on social media, standing by Cosby as a friend and advocate for proof of the allegations. When one follower, also a Temple alum, asked Scott to sign a petition for the university to cut ties with the comedy star, the singer responded in the negative, philly.com noted. Cosby resigned from the university's board of trustees yesterday, Dec. 1. -
Speculation that Rosie O'Donnell Will Be Fired from 'The View' Intensifies
We have already told you guys that there are major problems going on over at ABC's "The View," and while a lot of finger-pointing is going on, Rosie O'Donnell is inevitably in the middle of it all. Everything seems to be an issue for the star, from the topics that the ladies discuss during the show to the fact that Whoopi Goldberg has been cast as the discussion leader. After just a few months back at the round table, it seems O'Donnell cannot get out of there fast enough and her days are already rumored to be numbered.According to a well-placed source, TMZ is reporting that O'Donnell has become impossible to work with. Aside from being ticked off that Goldberg is in control of the daily discussion, she has made no friends within the production crew because of her rude behavior. Supposedly, people connected to the show have attempted to talk things out with O'Donnell, but that has gotten them nowhere. She is reportedly depressed, leaving some to wonder if she will even bother to finish out the entire season. Some of the conflict between O'Donnell and Goldberg has stemmed from the fact that Goldberg has purposely avoided discussion of controversial topics, such as the rape allegations against Bill Cosby. Since "The View" is now technically a part of ABC News, then there is an expectation that such headline-grabbing subjects would be fair game, but the more O'Donnell pushes for that, the faster Goldberg seems to dismiss her thoughts. -
Are Rosie O'Donnell's Days on 'The View' Already Numbered?
We recently told you how Rosie O'Donnell and Whoppi Goldberg have been clashing on nearly everything while trying to work together as co-hosts on ABC's "The View". The show has been in a total state of flux this season with Barbra Walters gone from the roundtable and two new ladies trying to find their footing behind such heavyweights as O'Donnell and Goldberg. Unfortunately, in all of the chaos the ratings have taken a significant dip and both stars are blaming each other. -
Did Bill Cosby Give a Story to the Press About His Drug-Addicted Daughter to Silence Them on His Bad Behavior?
Every day at least one new Bill Cosby story hits the press, and they seem to be getting worse, if that is even possible. Countless women have come forward in the last two weeks, according to Yahoo!, telling similar stories that seem to paint Cosby at worst as a serial rapist or at least as a man who has used his fame to control others. Nearly every allegation has been made by someone who did not know the actor well, which is why the most recent story is so unsettling.According to Page Six, a reporter who used to work for the "National Enquirer" divulged details that, if true, kind of insinuate that Cosby is certainly not the best father, either. Supposedly, back in 1989 the magazine had a salacious story on Cosby swinging in Las Vegas with Sammy Davis Jr. and some show girls. At that point in time, Cosby's sitcom was the No. 1 show in America and he had been stereotyped as a father figure, so it was the kind of scandal he could not afford.Apparently, Cosby wheeled-and-dealed with the "Enquirer" and he gave it a different story to run, one about his then-23-year-old daughter Erinn, who had substance abuse issues. Cosby reportedly gave it all sorts of inside details on Erinn's drug and alcohol abuse with the understanding that it would not run the story on his own bad behavior. -
J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League Defend Bill Cosby in Series of Tweets
It seems like every day a new sexual allegation arises against Bill Cosby. He lost his potential Netflix special and NBC decided to drop his new series. There are few people in his corner and understandably so when multiple women are accusing Cosby of rape. It appears he just got the production trio J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League on his side in a series of now-deleted tweets that, among many things, said: Cosby was one of the "top 10 black people" in earth's history.Continuing that train of thought, someone on the account claims "He gets a pass" and one of Cosby's alleged victims Janice Dickinson, via "CBS News," "isn't even top 10 in any category."The production trio reminds Twitter that Cosby has not been convicted yet and he has only been ostracized in the court of public opinion:"Might I remind you, there's never been a conviction of Bill Cosby. Only a Twitter conviction"Making sure to have their moral bases covered when defending an alleged rapist, the trio distanced themselves from the act itself: "We don't condone rape, but we also don't condone accusing an innocent American of rape with no conviction." -
Bill Cosby Laughed About Recent Allegations While Performing at a Women's Rape Charity Event in the Bahamas
Nearly every day for the last two weeks another woman has come out of the shadows to accuse Bill Cosby of everything from groping to full-blown rape. While his attorney is insisting that Cosby is nothing more than a victim of a horrific smear campaign, the industry is definitely fearing otherwise. NBC killed a new sitcom that had been in development and Netflix has shelved Cosby's latest stand-up gig that was filmed for them. At first, it was thought that Cosby's stand-up shows would survive these allegations, but many venues have begun canceling gigs into next year, indicating that the comedian may not come out of this with an active career intact.Late last week, Cosby did do a scheduled show in the Bahamas — and ironically enough the proceeds went to benefit a women's charity. The organization that he came out to support works with rape victims and domestic violence victims and provides counseling for both. No doubt Cosby was glad that this show went on because it made him look supportive of women's issues rather than an alleged abuser. What was appalling was that during this show Cosby found some crocodile tears for the slew of allegations against him and even joked onstage about his current battle in the public eye."Parents are coming and taking their children home, saying to me, 'Bill Cosby, you are an evil man! We will never eat your Jell-O pudding again!'" said Cosby to an audience that thought his jokes were hilarious. -
Lisa Bonet Posts Cryptic Tweet About Bill Cosby Scandal -- Calls Situation "Karma"
Last night (Nov. 21), a Twitter account that appears to be that of Lisa Bonet's (but remains unverified by Twitter) posted a tweet that simply said: "According to the karma of past actions, one's destiny unfolds, even though everyone wants to be so lucky... Nothing stays in the dark 4ever!"
