• Bravo Wants Both Eileen Davidson and Lisa Rinna to Return for Another Season on 'RHOBH'

    It looks like fans of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" that fell in love with this season's new additions, Eileen Davidson and Lisa Rinna, are going to have a reason to tune in again next season. Bravo's powers-that-be are reportedly quite happy with the direction that these two ladies helped to move the reality show in and they're anxious to have them both sign on for a second season.

    If you have paid any attention to the coverage coming out of NYFW, then you may have noticed that there seem to be fewer reality stars in attendance and far less photos of Bravo-lebrities converging on the festivities at Lincoln Center. Many reality stars no longer have enough clout to get into the event.

Now Gia Giudice's manager, Maria De Santis, has also put out a casting call for "RHONJ."

Like it or not, Giudice has always been the centerpiece of the show, and without her it is just unlikely that enough people are going to tune in to get the ratings to where they would need to be. Needless to say, the rest of the cast wants to believe that they are more than enough to keep the show going. The fact that they might need a shady, admitted criminal to keep them relevant and on television is no doubt a shot to their egos, but it does seem to be the bottom line.

    Who doesn't love Andy Cohen? He is the mastermind behind the "Real Housewives" franchise on Bravo and he also hosts "Watch What Happens: Live" each night. Aside from his obvious chops for business, he comes across as a really likable guy, and that makes him the perfect one to ask all those tough, interview questions. Cohen started at CBS as a producer and found his way over to Bravo after about 10 years in the business. He recently did an interview for "Entertainment Weekly" that revealed some pretty interesting details.Like the fact that "Watch What Happens: Live" is styled after Dick Cavett's old talk show and how Cohen taps into the old stuff to help guide his development decisions at Bravo now. He also talked about how many shows on the network have started off slow and picked up momentum by the end of their first season. Very rarely has there been an instant hit and, believe it or not, the "Housewives" franchise almost never existed!Cohen explained that there were so many production problems and other issues after filming the first season of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" that it was almost canceled as soon as the season finished airing. Had it been killed, then we would have never met the ladies from New York City, New Jersey, Atlanta, Miami and Beverly Hills.     When the current season of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" premiered a few months ago, everyone sort of expected Lisa Rinna to be the new cast member that was an instant hit, and she has been. Rinna is fun and it kind of seems like anything goes when she's on camera. She's also super-focused on not only her family, but keeping her career in Hollywood going any way that she can. Fellow soap star, Eileen Davidson, wasn't even introduced to the audience until the third episode and she just kind of clicked with the audience, to the point that she's now considered to be the breakout star of the show.
