Producer Butch Vig gives status of new Foo Fighters album
The Foo Fighters eighth studio album is "almost halfway done," producer Butch Vig has told Kerrang (via NME). Vig, who is thought to be co-producing the album with Steve Albini, says the band is experimenting with challenging recording techniques similar to their process on 2011's Wasting Light, which was made in Grohl's garage.
