Lorde is currently hard at work (we hope) on her new album, but today (December 10) the 18-year-old Kiwi pop star shared a clip of a song through her Tumblr that she probably won't be releasing officially any time soon. The song, titled "Lost Boys," was written and recorded in 2013 for her debut album "Pure Heroine," but was ultimately cut from the album because "it was not a good song," at least according to Lorde. -

Charli XCX has become one of the hottest new acts in the pop world with her edgy sound and well-timed hooks. Her rise to prominence has been so meteoric it almost seemed like something was not right. Now in an interview with "Nylon" magazine, the "Boom Clap" singer has revealed she has a special gift that, according to Boston University, anywhere from 1 in 5,000 to 1 in 100,000 people have the condition synesthesia.Synesthetes, the people who have synesthesia, have a condition in which, according to BU, "When a certain sense or part of a sense is activated, another unrelated sense or part of a sense is activated concurrently. For example, when someone hears a sound, he or she immediately sees a color or shape in his or her 'mind's eye.'"Charlie XCX spoke to "Nylon" about her experience with synesthesia and what it is like to make music with the condition.People would always ask me how I came up with my music and what it felt like to make music, and I would always see colors and then I found out that that was synesthesia," Charli recently told "Nylon." "It helps me understand songs and what I like." -

The BRTHR-directed clip finds Charli breaking up with her clueless boyfriend and then hitting the bowling alley to pick up guys and play a show with her band (this must be Asbury Lanes, then). The video is shot with a bizarre combination of low-budget graininess and a bright neon color palette, which gives it a visual aura vaguely reminiscent of a grindhouse horror flick from the '70s. -

Not only will James Franco, Martin Freeman and Amy Adams be hosting the final three episodes of the year, but they will be joined by Nicki Minaj, Charli XCX and One Direction. Fans can expect holiday hijinks the entire month of December, especially the Dec. 20 episode with Adams and "Story of My Life" singers 1D.The group performed on the show last December, joining host Paul Rudd (below), "Billboard" noted.
