Scottish electro-pop band Chvches made a stop at the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge yesterday in support of its debut album The Bones of What You Believe, and they decided to mix things up a bit. Instead of just playing a few of their recent hits like "The Mother We Share," The trio made an unexpected choice to cover British boy band East 17's 1994 single "Stay Another Day." -
Disclosure, Chvrches, other alternative acts top Hype Machine's 'Most Blogged' list
If you roll your eyes at the term "blogosphere," at least acknowledge the truth the music world on the internet is vastly different from real-life music. The most telling example is Hype Machine's yearly 'Music Blog Zeitgeist,' which counts down the Top 50 performers based on how often they're mentioned in over 820 prominent music blogs. Hint: Lady Gaga, Kanye West, Eminem, Jay Z and Katy Perry didn't make the list. -

Chvrches have announced more tour dates in support of their critically acclaimed debut LP, The Bones of What You Believe. The North American leg of the tour begins in April, and as Consequence of Sound points out, could mean an appearance at Coachella. -
