The internet has helped unlocked some of the greatest technological advances this world has ever seen and brought people together like never before. However, with all of the great that the internet has done for humanity, it also allows the scourge of society to be heard in ways the weren't previously possible. One of these individuals thought it was a good idea to threaten CHVRCHES signer Lauren Mayberry with rape on Twitter. Whether or not they "truly" meant it is irrelevant, the thought and writing were disgusting and should be put down at every turn. She responded to this outburst with a post of her own, calling out the online commenter and challenging any misogynists in the process, saying, "women will not be shamed and silenced and made to disappear. I am not going anywhere. So bring it on motherf*ckers. Let's see who blinks first." -

The BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge has given us a great selection of covers, from Hozier's "Problem" to Charli XCX's "Shake It Off" and the classic Lorde take on "Don't Tell 'Em," and now there's another new buzzy viral cover making its way around the Internet. Today (Feb. 20), indie rock banc CHVRCHES took on the Justin Timberlake classic "Cry Me a River," giving it a biting, industrial style cover that's deserving of Mr. Jessica Biel. -

Eric Prydz has unveiled the music video for his remix of CHVRCHES "Tether." The video follows a cube found on the album artwork situated in various spots on the earth as they erode away and become destroyed by man-made or natural phenomena with the ethereal voice of CHVRCHES echoing in the background, saying, "I'm Feeling capable of / seeing the end / I'm feeling capable of saying it's over." -

Eric Prydz Unveils CHVRCHES 'Tether' Remix, Album Is In 'Final Stages'
Swedish producer Eric Prydz does not release music often, but when he does, he makes it count. He has previewed his remix for CHVRCHES track "Tether" from their 2013 album The Bones Of What You Believe. The "Everyday" producer premiered the remix to the world during his Ultra Music Festival set in 2014 and has since been tweaking it and playing the rework out in his live sets. 10 months later, it has been signed, named the hottest record in the world by Zane Lowe and has an official UK release date - March 29th. During his short interview after with Zane Lowe, the "Liberate" producer dishes on his long awaited artist album, saying it is in "Final stages, everything is done and it should be ready in two weeks." -

After wrapping up their UK tour in support of their 2013 breakout The Bones of What You Believe in December, Glasgow synth pop group Chvrches announced that their second album was on its way. Lorde Shares Clip Of Old Song 'Lost Boys' Cut From 'Pure Heroine' [LISTEN]
Lorde is currently hard at work (we hope) on her new album, but today (December 10) the 18-year-old Kiwi pop star shared a clip of a song through her Tumblr that she probably won't be releasing officially any time soon. The song, titled "Lost Boys," was written and recorded in 2013 for her debut album "Pure Heroine," but was ultimately cut from the album because "it was not a good song," at least according to Lorde. -

Chvrches have announced that their second album is on the way in a photo posted to Facebook. "Over 365 shows in two years and we're going home," they wrote. "Work on album two starts in January." The band recently wrapped up a UK tour in support of their 2013 debut The Bones of What You Believe. -
